Efectul utilizării vierilor hibrizi în sporirea capacităţii de creştere şi dezvoltare a tineretului suin | The effect of utilization of hybrid boars for enhancing growth and development capacity of young swines

În prezentul studiu au fost evaluate performanţele de creştere şi dezvoltare a tineretului suin obţinut prin încrucişarea scroafelor Marele alb x Landrace cu vieri de rasă pură (Pietrain şi Duroc), precum şi cu vieri hibrizi birasiali (Pietrain x Duroc) şi trirasiali (Marele alb x Landrace x Pietrain). În total în studiu au fost incluse 150 de capete de tineret hibrid (75 de scrofiţe şi 75 de vieruşi) de la 30 de scroafe. S-a constatat că rezultate mai relevante, privind acumularea de masă corporală şi manifestarea vitezei de creştere, a realizat descendenţa obţinută prin combinarea formei materne Marele alb x Landrace şi a formelor paterne Duroc şi Pietrain x Duroc, fapt ce se explică prin influenţa capacităţii de combinare a genotipurilor materne şi paterne şi gradului de manifestare a fenomenului heterozis. În toate perioadele de creştere masculii au realizat greutăţi corporale mai ridicate decat scrofiţele. Diferenţele de greutate devin mai evidente începând cu varsta de 120 de zile.

The present study has been aimed to evaluate the growth and development performances of young swines obtained by crossing Large White x Landrace sows with pure bred boars (Pietrain and Duroc), as well as with two-breed hybrid boars (Pietrain x Duroc) and three-breed boars (Large White x Landrace x Pietrain). A total of 150 young hybrids (75 gilts and 75 piglets) from 30 sows were included in the study. It was established that the progeny obtained by combining the Large White x Landrace (female parent) with Duroc and Pietrain x Duroc (male parents) achieved more relevant results as regards body mass accumulation and growth rate that is explained by the effect of the combining ability of maternal and paternal genotypes and by the degree of manifestation of heterosis phenomenon. In all growing periods male swines achieved higher body weights compared to the gilts. Weight differences become more evident beginning with the age of 120 days.
