Morfologia pomilor de cireș în sistem super intensiv de cultură
2024
Russu, Stanislav
Investigations were carried out with the cherry varieties Kordia, Regina and Summit, grafted on Gisela 6, planted in 2018 at a spacing of 4 x 1 m. The trees were trained according to the Axe super spindle crown system. The number of bunch branches on 6-year-old cherry trees changes with variety and crown shape. The number of May clusters on 3- and 4-year-old wood decreases significantly compared to clusters on 2-year-old wood. The distribution of fruit formations on multi-year wood of the studied varieties does not differ essentially, in the sense that the majority of May clusters are found on 2-year-old wood and are decreasing on 3-4-year-old wood. Average branch length ranged from 32.5-37.5 cm on 3-year-old branches to 47.5-56.3 cm on 1-year-old branches. The density of cherry blossoms depends on the variety and the wood from which they are formed. An average of four flower buds and one vegetative bud develop on a two-year-old branch. Three flowers form in each flower bud, and the vegetative buds develop into may clusters, mixed branches and clumps.
