Analiza gospodăririi fondului forestier din cadrul ocolului silvic Cahul pe perioada anilor 2015–2023

The article contains information on the analysis of the forest management in the Cahul Forest Forest Forest Reserve from 2015 to 2023. The silvicultural treatments in the forest stands of the Forestry Forest Office were applied in SUP V on the area of 260.12 ha constituting only 43% of the planned area. In general, clear felling as well as coppicing was applied. Progressive cuts although planned were not realised. Special conservation works were applied in SUP M on 173.21 ha constituting 50 % of the planned area. Analysing the care and management works, we note that, although clearings were not planned, they were applied on the area of 107.1 ha, with an increased harvesting index of 7.28 m3/ha. Clearings were applied to 426.6 ha, constituting 72% of the planned area, thinnings to 270.9 ha constituting only 26% of the planned area, and hygienic felling was applied to only 3.0 ha. Afforestation was applied on 153.87 ha, constituting only 46% of the planned area. 51% of the area was planted with acacia, a species with no prospects for the given climatic zone, taking into account the process of climate aridisation. Only 7.2 ha of red oak and 1.0 ha of oak were planted. Only 43% of the planted area has been transferred to the massif and the remaining 57% is still growing. Completions were made on 80.85 ha constituting only 69% of the planned area. 74% of completed.
