Проведено е проучване за изследване ефекта на антиоксидантните добавки цистеин и Витамин Е върху стандартните параметри на семенна течност от коч след съхранение в продължение на 0, 24, 48, 72 и 96 часа при 5°С, след получаване и разреждане. 30 еякулата от два коча бяха изследвани след разреждане Tris буфер с жълтък, съдържащ Витамин Е (1 mM), цистеин (10 mM) и контролна група без антиоксидант. След разреждане спермата се съхранява в хладилник (5°С) и в продължение на 4 дни бяха отчитани качествените параметри (мотилитет, жизнеспособност) на интервали от 24 часа. Експериментите са проведени извън репродуктивния сезон. Резултатите показват, че чрез добавянето на 1 mМ Витамин Е или 10 mМ L-цистеин към средата качеството на охладената сперма от коч се подобрява.

We conducted a study investigating the effect of antioxidant supplements Cysteine and Vitamin Eon the standard parameters of a ram seminal fluid after storage for 0, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours at 5ºC after collection and dilution. 30 ejaculates from two rams were examined, diluted with yolk Tris buffer containing vitamin E (1 mM), cysteine (10 mM) and a control group without antioxidant. After dilution the semen was kept in a refrigerator (5o C) and for 4 days the qualitative parameters (motility, viability) were examined at intervals of 24 hours. Experiments were conducted outside the reproductive season. Results show that by the addition of 1 mM vitamin E or 10 mM L-cysteine to the Tris medium, the quality of the chilled semen ram improves.
