Effect of dietary bamboo charcoal powder supplementation on carcass quality of spent laying hen | ผลการเสริมผงถ่านไม้ไผ่ในอาหารต่อคุณภาพซากของไก่ไข่ปลดระวาง

anglais. Effect of dietary bamboo charcoal powder (BCP) supplementation on carcass quality of spent laying hen (Rhode Island Red ×Single Comb White Leghorn). The objective was to study the production potential and carcass quality of spent laying hen. The study  were investigated in 18, 104 weeks of age chicks. The chicks were randomly assigned to 3 experimental groups (Completely randomized design; CRD), 6 replicates of 1 chicks each. Group 1, the chicks were fed control diet without BCP (0%). Group 2 and 3 the chicks were fed the diet containing BCP at 0.25 and 0.50 percent, respectively. The carcass quality and meat quality were observed and when the chickens were 111 weeks of age at the end of the experiment. The results showed that the BCP was not effect on carcass quality. Therefore, the BCP can use in spent laying hen diet up to 0.50% without the effect on carcass quality.

thaï. การเสริมผงถ่านไม้ไผ่ในอาหารต่อคุณภาพซากของไก่ไข่ปลดระวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพการผลิตของไก่ไข่ปลดระวางด้านคุณภาพซาก โดยทำการศึกษาในไก่ไข่ปลดระวางพันธุ์ไฮบริด (Rhode Island Red × Single Comb White Leghorn) อายุ 104 สัปดาห์ จำนวน 18 ตัว วางแผนการทดลองแบบสุ่มสมบูรณ์ (Completely Randomize Design ; CRD) แบ่งการทดลองออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม แต่ละกลุ่มแบ่งออกเป็น 6 ซ้ำ ซ้ำละ 1 ตัว กลุ่มที่ 1 คือ กลุ่มควบคุมที่ได้รับอาหารสำเร็จรูป (ไม่เสริมผงถ่านไม้ไผ่คิดเป็น 0 เปอร์เซ็นต์) กลุ่มที่ 2 และ 3 คือกลุ่มที่ได้รับอาหารที่เสริมผงถ่านไม้ไผ่ที่ระดับ 0.25 และ 0.50 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ตามลำดับ  ทำการศึกษาคุณภาพซากและคุณภาพเนื้อไก่ไข่ปลดระวาง เมื่อทำการทดลองครบ 7 สัปดาห์ (อายุไก่ครบ 111 สัปดาห์) พบว่าน้ำหนักเมื่อสิ้นสุดการทดลอง คุณภาพซาก ไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P>0.05) จากการทดลองนี้แสดงให้เห็นว่าการเสริมผงถ่านไม้ไผ่ในอาหารไก่ไข่ปลอดระวางสามารถใช้เสริมได้ 0.50 เปอร์เซ็นต์ โดยไม่ส่งผลเสียต่อคุณภาพซาก
