Characterization morfoagronomica of four varieties of Saccharum sp. Hybrid l- under three conditions of different handlings | Caracterización morfoagronómica de cuatro variedades de Saccharum sp. híbrida l. en tres condiciones de manejos diferentes

With the objective of characterizing morphs agronomics four sugar cane variety in commercial exploitation in the caners areas of the Sugar Company Antonio Sánchez: My5514, Co997, C323-68 and C8612, under three different management conditions: of registered seed bank, garden of varieties and of production, the following variables were measured: height of the shaft (cm), diameter of the shaft (mm), number of active leaves, inter knot number for shaft, longitude of the inter knot in 10 shafts and mass of the shafts (kg.). The results reveal that all the varieties under production management conditions reach the smallest values of height, mass, diameter of the shafts, number of active leaves, number and longitude of the inter knot, that reached only between 22 and 31% of their potential yield. Under production conditions, the varieties C323-68 and the My5514 were those of smaller potential yields.

Con el objetivo de caracterizar morfoagronómicamente cuatro variedades de caña en explotación comercial en la Empresa Azucarera Antonio Sánchez: My5514, Co997, C323-68 y C8612 en tres condiciones diferentes de manejo: banco de semilla registrado, jardín de variedades y de producción, se evaluaron las siguientes variables: Altura del tallo (cm), diámetro del tallo (mm), número de hojas activas, número de entrenudos por tallo, número de entrenudos con raíces, longitud de los entrenudos en 10 tallos y masa de los tallos (kg.). Los resultados revelan que todas las variedades bajo las condiciones de manejo de producción alcanzan los menores valores de altura, masa, diámetro de los tallos, número de hojas activas, número y longitud de los entrenudos, lo que trajo como consecuencia que alcanzaran sólo entre el 22 y el 31 % de su rendimiento potencial. Bajo condiciones de producción, las variedades C323-68 y la My5514 resultaron las de menores rendimientos potenciales.
