Introduction:The scientific community recognizes knowledge management as one of the most important assets for any business or academic institution.Objective:To present a tool to evaluate the management of intellectual capital, in its three dimensions: human, structural and relational capital, at the Territorial Sugarcane Research Station “Oriente-Sur”.Materials and Methods:A literature review was carried out on the subject under analysis and a monitoring of the knowledge management indicators of the institution in the period 2014-2020. An assessment of the institution's human resources was carried out in different classifications: age, scientific degree, scientific and teaching category. Scientific production, infrastructure and information technologies were determined. In addition, elements of dissemination and systematization of institutional knowledge were evaluated.Results and Discussion:A knowledge management tool was established to evaluate the behavior of Intellectual Capital through 29 and 27 first and second level indicators respectively, to measure the contributions of human, structural and relational capital to the intellectual.Conclusions:The knowledge management tool obtained allows evaluating the behavior of the Intellectual Capital in the Territorial Sugarcane Research Station “Oriente-Sur” in the period 2014-2020.

Introducción:La comunidad científica reconoce la gestión del conocimiento como uno de los activos más importantes para cualquier institución empresarial o académica. Objetivo:Presentar una herramienta, que permita evaluar la gestión del capital intelectual, en sus tres dimensiones: capital humano, estructural y relacional, en la Estación Territorial de Investigaciones de la Caña de Azúcar “Oriente-Sur”.Materiales y Métodos:Se desarrolló una revisión bibliográfica respecto al tema objeto de análisis y un monitoreo de los indicadores de gestión del conocimiento de la entidad en el período 2014-2020. Se realizó una valoración de los recursos humanos de la institución en diferentes clasificaciones: edad, grado científico, categoría científica y docente. Se determinó la producción científica, la infraestructura y las tecnologías de la información. Además, se evaluaron elementos de difusión y sistematización delconocimiento institucional.Resultados y Discusión:Se estableció una herramienta de gestión del conocimiento, para evaluar el comportamiento del Capital Intelectual a través de 29 y 27 indicadores del primer y segundo nivel respectivamente, para medir el aporte de los capitales humano, estructural y relacional al capital intelectual.Conclusiones:La herramienta de gestión del conocimiento obtenida permite evaluar el comportamiento del Capital Intelectual en la Estación Territorial de Investigaciones de la Caña de Azúcar “Oriente-Sur” en el período 2014-2020.
