Comparison of reactions of three oat varieties to UV-B radiation | Porównanie reakcji trzech odmian owsa na promieniowanie UV-B

Under influence of the UV-B radiation (UV-BBE = 4 kJ·m-2·d-1, 15 days), plants of oat (Avena sativa L.) growing in controlled conditions of the temperature (17°C/15°C, day/night) and light (PPFD = 150 µmol·m-2·s-1) showed undesirable changes of the biometrical and physiological features. Considering the biometrical features, from among the examined three varieties (Akt, Bajka, Cacko), the most sensitive was the naked Cacko variety it had shortened and stenosed leaves, and diminished dry mass of plants. Plants of the traditional husked Bajka variety showed higher tolerance to the used UV-B dose, had less disturbed photosynthetic apparatus than the investigated naked varieties Akt and Cacko.

Pod wpływem zastosowanej dawki promieniowania UV-B (UV-BBE = 4 kJ·m-2·d-1, 15 dni) w roślinach owsa (Avena sativa L.) rosnących w kontrolowanych warunkach temperatury (17°C/15°C, dzień/noc) i oświetlenia (PPFD = 150 µmol·m-2·s-1) nastąpiły niekorzystne zmiany cech biometrycznych oraz fizjologicznych. Biorąc pod uwagę cechy biometryczne, spośród badanych trzech odmian (Akt, Bajka i Cacko) najbardziej wrażliwe okazały się rośliny nieoplewionej odmiany Cacko, które miały, w porównaniu z roślinami kontrolnymi, skrócone i zwężone liście oraz zmniejszoną suchą masę roślin. Rośliny tradycyjnej odmiany Bajka wykazały większą tolerancję na zastosowaną dawkę UV-B, także w mniejszym stopniu miały naruszony aparat fotosyntetyczny niż badane odmiany nieoplewione Akt i Cacko.
