The effect of method of land slope gradient on healthiness and yielding of oats in monoculture and in mixtures | Wpływ nachylenia stoku na zdrowotność i plonowanie owsa w siewie czystym i w mieszanym

anglais. In 1998–2000 field experiments were carried out at a mountain experimental station situated at 545–570 m a.s.l at Czyrna Niżna near Krynica. The experiments concerned healthiness and yielding of oats depending on the method of sowing and position on the slope. A significant increase in oats leaves infection was recorded in pure stands by Puccinia coronata and Helminthosporium avenae. Mixtures limited the intensity of fungal diseases on leaves and ensured better yielding. On the other hand position on the slope did not have any influence on fungal diseases of oats leaves. However, oats cultivation in the upper part of the slope with 16.6% inclination gradient caused a marked aggravation of the take all disease.

W latach 1998–2000 przeprowadzono badania polowe w Górskiej Stacji Doświadczalnej w Czyrnej Niżnej koło Krynicy na wysokości 545-570 m n.p.m. Badania dotyczyły zdrowotności i plonowania owsa w zależności od sposobu siewu i położenia na stoku. Stwierdzono istotny wzrost porażenia liści owsa w siewie jednogatunkowym przez Puccinia coronata i Helminthosporium avenae. Siew wielogatunkowy ograniczał nasilenie chorób grzybowych na liściach i zapewniał lepsze plonowanie. Z kolei położenie na stoku nie miało wpływu na choroby grzybowe liści owsa. Natomiast uprawa owsa na stoku o nachyleniu 16,6% powodowała istotny wzrost fuzaryjnej zgorzeli podstawy źdźbła.
