PL: Funkcjonowanie flory drzewiastej na terenie kampusu UPWr | EN: Functioning of tree flora on the campus of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences

abstractPL: Poniższe opracowanie zawiera kompleksową analizę kampusu Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego we Wrocławiu położonego w rejonie Placu Grunwaldzkiego w aspekcie roślinności drzewiastej. Poza tym charakteryzuje wymieniony wyżej obiekt pod kątem topograficznym, historycznym, siedliskowym, przyrodniczym oraz klimatycznym. Ocenia warunki w jakich funkcjonuje lokalna roślinność. W trakcie prac wykonana została inwentaryzacja fotograficzna zarówno w stanie bezlistnym wczesną jesienią oraz w stanie wegetacji pod koniec maja. Przeprowadzono także, szczegółową inwentaryzację dendrologiczną podczas, której zostały zmierzone między innymi obwody pnia, wysokości drzew oraz średnice ich korony. W rezultacie zinwentaryzowano 469 drzew i krzewów z wyszczególnieniem 77 różnych gatunków. Dodatkowo dokonano oceny stanu zdrowia flory oraz oszacowano przybliżony wiek drzew. Zebrany materiał został przeanalizowany pod kątem składu gatunkowego, roślin rodzimych i obcych ( inwazyjnych / nieinwazyjnych). Wyszczególniono trzy gatunki dominujące Platan klonolistny (Platanus × acerifolia) , Leszczyna turecka (Corylus colurna L.) oraz Cis pospolity (Taxus baccata L.). Zaawansowane analizy pozwoliły ocenić stan zdrowotny drzew oraz ich profil wiekowy. Wykazano iż obszar Kampusu Grunwaldzkiego jest bardzo bioróżnorodnym ekosystemem, w którym rośliny rozwijają się prawidłowo pomimo ciężkich warunków środowiska miejskiego i wielu ingerencji ze strony działalności człowieka.

abstractEN: This study analyzes the campus of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences and the Grunwaldzki Square area in terms of tree and shrub vegetation. It examines the area from the perspective of location, history, habitat, natural environment, and climate. It assesses the conditions in which local vegetation thrives. During the study, a photographic inventory was taken both in the leafless state in early autumn and in the vegetative state in late May. This was followed by a detailed dendrological inventory, which measured parameters such as trunk circumference, tree height, and crown diameter. As a result, 469 trees and shrubs, including 77 different species, were inventoried. Additionally, the health of the flora was assessed and the approximate age of the trees was estimated. The collected material was analyzed for species composition, native plants, and non-native plants (invasive/non-invasive). Three dominant species were identified: London Plane (Platanus × acerifolia), Turkish Hazel (Corylus colurna L.), and Common Yew (Taxus baccata L.). Further analyses will examine the trees' health status and age profile. The Grunwald Campus area has been shown to be a highly biodiverse ecosystem, where plants thrive despite the harsh conditions of the urban environment and numerous human disturbances.
