Productivity of maize hybrids in the western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine depending from different norms of mineral fertilizer application | Продуктивність гібридів кукурудзи залежно від різних норм внесення мінеральних добрив у Західному Лісостепу України

anglais. In the world crop production, corn takes third place after wheat and rice, where about 15–20% of grain is used for technical purposes, for livestock feeding – 60–65%. It is the most profitable in the agricultural market, for Ukraine it is an export-oriented culture, the demand of which in the domestic market is about one third of its total production, and is more sold on the external market. The effective use of the genetic capabilities of new hybrids can increase productivity and is the main reserve for increasing gross harvests of corn. The correct selection of hybrids of different ripeness groups with a high yield potential and increased adaptability to the unfavorable abiotic factors of a particular growing zone is a very important task for both breeding and seed production. In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of corn hybrids in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine, which differ in the length of the growing season, plant height, resistance to thickening, disease, drought, reaction to changes in plant nutrition, water regime, etc. The article presents the results of studies on the features of the formation of the structure of plants of maize hybrids of various ripeness groups. It is scientifically substantiated that the performance of hybrids is ensured by their biological properties to respond positively to weather factors that comprise the level of mineral nutrition of plants. In weather conditions 2019, 2020 on gray forest superficially gleyed soils of the western Forest-Steppe, the yield of green mass of maize hybrids varied from 42,4–44,0 t/ha (control - without fertilizers), to 54,8–58.9 t/ha - at an application rate of N120P60K60 and 61,1–71.5 t/ha - by N150P90K90. The highest grain yield (7,49–7,83 t/ha) was provided by maize hybrids against the background of mineral nutrition N120P60K60. Depending on the ripeness group and the seeding rate, the difference between the hybrids was 3,14 (early maturing) and 3,25 (mid-early) t/ha to the control. At the rate of application of mineral fertilizers N150P90K90, the hybrids of the early maturing group formed a weight of 1000 seeds higher by 5,7% compared to the middle one. It was consistently high at all levels of nutrition in hybrids of the early maturing group DN Meotyda (259, 274, 286 g); in the mid-early - Orzhytsya 237 MV (269, 312, 322 g).

Вона економічно вигідна на аграрному ринку, для України – це експортно орієнтована культура, попит на яку на внутрішньому ринку становить приблизно третину її загального виробництва, тому її більше реалізують на зовнішньому. Ефективне використання генетичних можливостей нових гібридів дає змогу підвищити продуктивність і є головним резервом збільшення валових зборів кукурудзи. Правильний добір гібридів різних груп стиглості з високим потенціалом врожайності та підвищеною адаптивністю до несприятливих абіотичних факторів певної зони вирощування – дуже важливе завдання як для селекції, так і для насінництва культури. За останні роки спостерігається помітне зростання кількості гібридів кукурудзи в Державному реєстрі сортів рослин України, які вирізняються за тривалістю вегетаційного періоду, висотою рослин, стійкістю до загущення, хвороб, посухи, реакцією на зміни рівня живлення рослин, водного режиму та ін. У статті представлено результати досліджень з особливостей формування структури рослин гібридів кукурудзи різних груп стиглості. Науково обґрунтовано, що продуктивність гібридів забезпечується їх біологічними властивостями позитивно реагувати на погодні фактори, які складаються, та на рівень мінерального живлення рослин. У погодних умовах 2019, 2020 рр. на сірих лісових поверхнево оглеєних ґрунтах Західного Лісостепу урожайність зеленої маси гібридів кукурудзи варіювала від 42,4–44,0 т/га (контроль – без добрив), до 54,8–58,9 т/га – за норми внесення N120P60K60 і 61,1–71,5 т/га – за N150P90K90. Найвищу урожайність зерна (7,49–7,83 т/га) забезпечили гібриди кукурудзи на фоні мінерального живлення N150P90K90. Залежно від групи стиглості й норми висіву насіння різниця між гібридами та контролем становила 3,14 т/га (ранньостиглі) і 3,25 т/га (середньоранні). За норми внесення мінеральних добрив N150P90K90 гібриди ранньостиглої групи сформували масу 1000 насінин вищу на 5,7% порівняно з середньоранньою. Стабільно високою за усіх рівнів живлення вона була в гібридів ранньостиглої групи ДН Меотида (259, 274, 286 г) та середньоранньої Оржиця 237 МВ (269, 312, 322 г).
