Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]An alternative to compare non-linear models is given by means of the test of identity of models. The statistics utilized normally is given by means of the likelihood ratio. Aiming to evaluate by means of the Monte Carlo simulation the performance of this test, by the aid of the different sample models, number of equations, robustness and different models, the control of the type I error and the power was considered as a criterion . it follows that the increase in the number of equations produced a conservative effect in the control of the type I error for the Gompertz and Langmuir models for all the sample sizes and that the Gompertz model proved more powerful and robust for non-normal residuo
Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]Uma alternativa para comparar modelos não lineares é dada por meio do teste de identidade de modelos. A estatística utilizada mormente é dada por meio da razão de verossimilhanças. Objetivando avaliar por meio de simulação Monte Carlo a performance desse teste, mediante a diferentes tamanhos amostrais, número de equações, robustez e diferentes modelos, considerou-se como critério o controle do erro tipo I e o poder. Concluiu-se que o aumento no número de equações produziu um efeito conservativo no controle do erro tipo I para os modelos de Gompertz e Langmuir, para todos os tamanhos amostrais, e que o modelo de Gompertz mostrou-se mais poderoso e robusto para resíduos não normais.
