ZUSAMMENFASSUNG Unterkambrische Phosphorite, phosphatführende Sedimente und ihre stratigraphischen Äquivalente im Bereich der Yangtze Plattform, China, werden beschrieben und ihre Genese im Kontext der gesamten Sedimentsequenz erörtert. Zur Faziesinterpretation der beobachteten Lithofaziestypen Karbonatgesteine, Cherts und Tonsteine, Phosphorite und Schwarzschiefer wird übeiwiegend auf Mikrofaziesanalysen zurückgegriffen, die neben Karbonatgesteinen auch besonders vorteilhaft auf Phosphorite und phosphatführende Sedimente anwendbar sind. Mittels umfangreicher geochemischer Analytik werden die erhaltenen Ergebnisse ergänzt und präzisiert.
Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]SUMMARY Lower Cambrian phosphorites, phosphate bearing sediments and their stratigraphic equivalents of the Yangtze platform, China, are described. Their genesis is discussed in the context of the entire Neoproterozoic/Cambrian sedimentary sequence. A facies interpretation of the observed carbonate rocks, cherts, claystones, phosphorites and black shales is mainly based on microfacies analysis, which is also successfully applied to phosphorites and phosphate bearing sediments. By means of comprehensive geochemical analyses the results are supplemented and specified.
