Investigation of acute and subchronic (chronic) toxicity of complexinates of trace elements in experiments with calves was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The realized experiments were based on developed in Belarus veterinary preparations for the treatment and prevention of diseases connected with disorders of trace elements exchange containing chelate compounds of trace elements with sodium ethylene diamine acetate: Cuprovet (on the basis of CuNa); Cobalvet (on the basis of CoNa), Zinkovet (on the basis of ZnNa), and Feravet (on the basis of FeNa). There were the following indexes of ferrum in nephros - 55,3 +/- 2,26, in muscles - 134 +/- 26,6 mkg/g, and in liver - 565 +/- 35,5 mkg/g after administration of Feravet. There were the following index of zinc in nephros - 56,3 +/- 2,64, in muscles -25, 8 +/- 1,23 and in liver - 84,4 +/- 3,29 mkg/g after administration of Zinkovet. There were the following indexes of cuprum in nephros - 4,1 +/- 0,325, in muscles - 2,33 +/- 0,117, and in liver - 12,3 +/- 1,12 mkg/g after administration of Cuprovet. There were the following indexes of cobalt in nephros - 40,35 +/- 2,29, in muscles - 12,5 +/- 0,98, and in liver - 126,5 +/- 10,45 ng/g after administration of Cobalvet. Parameters of toxicity of all preparations were by the example of laboratory mice, rats and calves given. Content of trace elements in blood of calves in dynamics of the experiment was analyzed. There were determined parameters of acute toxicity of the analyzed preparations: they all could be referred to substance hazard category 4 (low-hazardous substances). The determined parameters of acute toxicity made it possible to recommend them for treatment and prophylaxis of microelementoses of cattle, as well as to use them as feed additives taking into consideration that defect action levels of the analysed preparations exceed the deficiency needs of cattle in case of their limited cumulation

Evaluation of safety and efficiency of application of immunostimulative drug Izambenum (C14H15IN2O) for stimulation of natural resistance (autarcesis) and immunologic responsiveness of chickens of laying breeds was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Clinical and experimental investigation of Izambenum influence on poultry for the increasing of their resistance, activation of immunological response to vaccination against Newcastle disease, stimulation of their growth and development was realized. Research results showed that Izambenum influenced on level of morphological indexes of chicken blood: number of erythrocytes increased on 24%, hemoglobin - on 17%. Total protein in blood serum increased in all test period and number of lymphocytes increased and differential was 90-100%. Izambenum increased strains of post vaccination immunity to Newcastle disease. Bacterial growth-inhibitory activity decreased on the 27the day of life and increased at the same positions on the 34-41 days. Phagocyte activity of pseudoeosinophils increased in all test groups. Research results showed that Izambenum rendered growth and immunity stimulation action and increased their viability. Its immunostimulative action was conditioned by strengthening of cellular and to lower extent humoral immunity factors. Application of the preparation in period of Newcastle disease vaccination promoted the formation of long-lived immunity

Investigation of antimicrobial activity of liquid extractions from the following medicinal plants and their mixtures against S. aureus, B. subtilis, E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and P. vulgaris was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus: peat moss (Sphagnum); greater plantain (Plantago major); plumepoppy (Macleaya); common comfrey (Symphytum officinale); speckled alder (Alnus incana). Research results showed that the best results for septic wounds treatment were obtained apter application of mixture of plumepoppy and greater plantain as it showed the acute antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healthing effect. Antimicrobial activity of the analyzed infusion formula revealed in quicker (on 3-6 days in comparison with control) wound cleansing from microorganisms, quick lowering of bacterial content up to 10E3 bodies per 1 g of tissue and in provision of wound healing without inclusion of saprogenous microflora. Anti-inflammatory effect was characterized by quick (by 2 days) cancellation of acute inflammatory response, that was revealed in lowering of neutrophilic leukocytes quantity up to 59,8 +/- 0,49 %; quicker normalization hematologic indexes and early reduction of perifocal edema; weakening of hyperthemia and hyperemia; decreasing of wound secretion without purulence; absence of leaks and leak pouch; normalization of microcirculation in wound. Wound-healthing effect was revealed in increasing of fibroblast number from 7,1 +/- 0,4 % up to 29,4 +/- 0,4 % on the 7th day and in activation proliferate and synthetically function

Investigation of efficiency of electrochemically active solutions in complex therapy of calves with diseases of the digestive apparatus and respiratory organs was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Calves diseased with dyspepsia and bronchopneumonia were chosen for investigation of gastrointestinal diseases and respiratory diseases. At the first stage there was studied the therapeutic efficacy of water solution of electrochemically active neutral anolyte and sodium hypochloride solution Akvamed for calves sick with dyspepsia. At the second stage there was analyzed the therapeutic efficacy of 0,04 % solution sodium hypochloride Akvamed for the treatment of bronchopneumonia of calves. Research results showed that inclusion into complex therapeutic regimen of calves of electrochemically active solutions promoted the reduction of disease duration and severity. Electrochemically active solutions had high biocidal activity and could be produced in large volumes, had practical safety, low price and acute therapeutic effect

Analysis of the optimal scheme of doses and rates of combined administration of probiotic Dialakt and immunostimulant Alveozan was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by the example of 1500 broiler chickens of cross Kobb- 500. Chickens of the first (controlled) group were given only total ration, balanced with the main nutrients. For the chickens of the second group were administrated with immunostimulant Alveozan with water starting from one day old age, every day in dose of 10 mkg/kg of body weight once a day in course of 5 days successively and with 7 days interval till the end of growing period; and probiotic Dialakt was administrated with water in dose of 0,1-0,2 ml/head (10,0-20,0 mln microbial bodies) starting from one day old age, once a day in course of 5 days successively and with 6 and 14 days intervals till the end of growing period. Chickens of the third group were administrated Alveozan in dose of 10 mkg/kg of body weight with drinking water once a day in course of 5 days with 10 days interval till the end of growing period; and Dialakt in dose of 0,1-0,2 ml/head with drinking water starting from one day old age, every day in course of 5 days with 6 and 14 days interval till the end of growing period. The research results showed the following optimal regime of complex application of the analyzed preparations: immunostimulant Dialakt - in dose of 0,1-0,2 ml/head with drinking water starting from one day old age, once a day in course of 3 days successively with 6 and 14 days intervals till the end of growing period; and immunostimulant Alveozan - in doze of 10 mkg/kg of body weight with drinking water once a day in course of 5 days with 10 days interval till the end of growing period. Complex application of Dialakt and Alveozan promoted the increasing of organometric indexes, specific volume and size of thymus in 1,5-1,8 times (P less than 0,01), Fabritsiya bursa - in 2 times (P less than 0,01) and lien - on 11,1% (P less than 0,05)

Results of studying of therapeutic efficiency of developed in the Republic of Belarus biological preparation of trial series against salmonellosis of animals and birds in the conditions of experimental salmonellosis of calves were presented. Research results showed that dualfold application of multivalent antitoxic serum against salmonellosis of calves, piglets and birds which was caused by association of S. Dublin, S. typhimurium, and S. enteritidis was accompanied by activation of humoral immunity. It was revealed in increasing of agglutinating activity of blood serum against S. enteritidis – in 11,5 times, against S. typhimurium – in 10,5 times, and against S. Dublin – in 10,0 times in 6 days after introduction of infection (4-th day after second application serum). Content of Ig M in blood serum calves which were treated with experimental serum increased in 2,0 times on the 6-th day after introduction of infection. Quantity of Ig G increased in 2,6 times by the 6-th day after introduction of infection. All these changes were typical for the clinical recovery of animals. Treatment efficiency of application of the analyzed serum was 75%

Evaluation of pathogenicity of Paenibacillus alvei culture obtained from a dead bee brood from Berezinsky Biosphere Nature Reserve was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by an example of 30-day old white male mice with body weight of 16-18 grams. Experimental animals were infected with European foul brood (Paenibacillus alvei) intraperitoneally. Research results showed that bacteria Paenibacillus alvei after the intraperitoneal infection with various amount of microbial cells did not cause mouse death; i.e. it was not pathogenic for white mice. In course of the realized observations over the laboratory mice after introduction of infection there were stated no changes in mice behavior and overall condition. There were no visible pathologicoanatomic changes in internal organs. After the bacteriologic examination of internal organs and blood there were isolated pure cultures of Paenibacillus alvei

Experimental research on production of antigen preparation for hyperimmunization of bulls from blood of which it was possible to produce an active medical and preventive serum against cattle salmonellosis and pasteurellosis was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. There were developed four variants of antigen on the basis of the formolated aluminous concentrated vaccine against calf salmonellosis and on the basis of semiliquid aluminum hydroxide vaccine against cattle pesteurellosis. All obtained variants of associated antigen had concentration of hydrogen ions, which was close to the neutral rating; they were also sterile and safe for white mice. Associated antigen which was constructed from vaccines in the ratio of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 2:3 had an ability to raise the protection of immunized experimental guinea pigs in the conditions of controlled introduction of infection with S. dublin 373 and S. tythimurium 371. Pasteurellosis component of associated antigen in 1:1 and 1:2 variants protected against death only 3 out of 5 immunized doves, both in relation to P. multocida strain N 796, and bacteria P. multocida strain N 5264. Vaccine ratio in the associated antigen 1:3 and 2:3 turned to be more immunogenically balanced: all tested doves survived after introduction of infection of broth culture P. multocida of N 796 and N 5264 strains. Experimental results showed that the associated antigen on the basis of vaccines in ratio of 1:3 was sterile, safe, active and suitable for hyperimmunization of bull producers serum against salmonellosis and pasteurellosis of calves, as well as antigen in the variant 2:3, but this ratio increased the expenses

Studying of therapeutic effectiveness of metabolic probiotic Diamixan (sterile concentrate of waste products of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus debrueckii, and Streptococcus salivarius) against piglet gastroenteritis appearing at weaning period was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The analyzed preparation contained complex of substances: bioartificial lactic acid, amino acids, polysaccharides, and some other ingdredients. In course of analysis of the state of intestinal microbiocenosis there were analyzed the following indexes: bifidus bacteria; lactic acid bacillus; E. coli; enterococcus; Proteus; Staphylococcus saprophyticus; Clostridia; yeast-like fungi; enterobacteria. Research results showed that application of the examined preparation made it possible to shorter the terms of animal recovery on 2,2 days, as well as to facilitate the severity of a disease. Bottle feeding of the metabolic probiotic promoted the stabilization and normalization of the main hematological indexes. The analyzed preparation created the optimal pH in lumen of the intestine, inhibited the rowth of opportunistic pathogenic bacteria, promoted quicker reconstruction of microecological status by means of normalization of standard flora of bifidus bacteria and lactic acid bacillus

Investigation of influence of complex probiotic preparation Laktimet obtained by means of cultivation of bifidus bacteria and lactic acid bacillus on morphological indexes of pancreatic gland of laying hens was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Two groups of laying hens of 121-130 days old were used in the experiment. The experimental hens were given probiotic Laktimet with water in dose of 1 ml/head every day in 4 cycles during 7 days and with 7 days intervals. Total condition, dynamics of body weight, and egg production were estimated. Research results showed that body weight of experimental hens increased on 6,4 % on the 10-th day; on 12,1% - on the 24-th day; on 6% - on the 40-th day; and 7,5% - on the 50-th day of experiment. Pancreas weight of experimental hens increased on 4-9%. Acinus size increased on 11%. Morphological indexes in exocrine pancreatic cells showed that altitude of basal pole increased on 3-7%. Application of probiotic Laktimet rendered positive influence on laying hens that was evident in increasing of their productivity (there was an increasing of live weight on 4-8%, and egg-laying capacity – on 18-33%). The positive dynamics of the majority of morphofunctional indexes of exocrinous and endocrine parts of pancreatic gland proved its significant role in maintenance of general state of laying hens and metabolic processes
