Мета. Оцінити генетичне різноманіття сортів ріпаку за допомогою SSR-маркерів для створення селекційного матеріалу із застосуванням його в комплексній селекції in vitro на посухо- та солестійкість. Методи. ПЛР аналіз, кластерний аналіз. Результати. Наведено результати досліджень поліморфізму сортів ріпаку на основі моле­кулярно-генетичних маркерів. У результати аналізу сор­тів ріпаку за досліджуваними маркерами виявили 41 алель, тобто в середньому 10,3 алелі на маркер. Кількість поліморфних локусів за чотирма мікросателітними маркерами (Ra3-H09, Na12-A02, FITO-063 та Na10-B07) складала 24 локуси. Рівень поліморфізму для досліджуваних сортів у середньому становив 51%: найвищий рівень (87%) відмічений для маркера Na12-A02, найнижчий (33%) – FITO-063. Відповідно до отриманого розподілу найбільшою частотою за SSR маркером Ra3-H09 вирізнялась алель розміром 117 п.н., яку ідентифіковано у трьох сортів: ‘Сенатор Люкс’, ‘Дангал’ та ‘Чорний велетень’. Виявлено, що за маркером Ra3-H09 унікальним для досліджуваних сортів виявились алелі з частотою 0,06 та розмірами 135 п.н. у сорту ‘Аліот’ та 156 п.н. у сорту ‘Кліфф’. За маркером FITO-063 ідентифіковано найменшу кількість алелів (5), при цьому розподіл частот варіював від 0,11 до 0,33. Унікальними алелями за маркеромFITO-063 виявились алелі розміром 258 та 273 п.н. з частотою 0,11 у сортів ‘Герос’ та ‘Чорний велетень’ відповідно. Найбільш подібними за чотирма досліджуваними SSR маркерами виявились сорти іноземної селекції‘НК Технік’ та ‘НК Петрол’ зі значенням генетичних дистанцій між ними 1.41. Інші сорти мають відмінності за щонайменше одним маркером. Висновки. Застосування системи із чотирьох мікросателітних маркерів забезпечує оцінку сортового різноманіття ріпаку для комплексної селекції in vitro на посухо- та солестійкість.

To assess the genetic diversity of rapeseed varieties using SSR markers in order to create breeding material and use that material in complex in vitro selection for drought and salt tolerance. Methods. PCR analysis, cluster analysis. Results. The results of analysis of rapeseed varieties polymorphism based on molecular-genetic markers is presented.As a result of the analysis of rapeseed varieties, 41 alleles were detected using the studied markers, that is, an average of 10.3 alleles per marker. The number of polymorphic loci identified by four microsatellite markers (Ra3-H09, Na12-A02, FITO-063 and Na10-B07) was 24. The polymorphism level of the studied varieties was 51% on average and varied between 33% (identified by FITO-063) and 87% (identified by Na12-A02). According to the frequency distribution of the obtained alleles, the highest frequency by SSR marker Ra3-H09 had a 117 bp allele identified in three varieties: ‘Senator Liuks’, ‘Danhal’ and ‘Chornyi Veleten’. It was found that the unique alleles identified by Ra3-H09 were the alleles at a frequency of 0.06 and size of 135 bp (variety ‘Aliot’) and 156 bp (variety ‘Kliff’). FITO-063 marker identified the smallest number of alleles (5) at a frequency distribution ranging from 0.11 to 0.33. The unique alleles identified by FITO-063 marker were the ones at a frequency of 0.1 and size of 258 bp (variety ‘Geros’) and 273 bp (variety ‘Chornyi Veleten’). The maximum number of alleles was obtained using Na12-A02 marker. The distribution showed the highest frequency (0.11) for the 158 bp and 192 bp alleles. Using Na10-B07 marker, three alleles were identified at a frequency of 0.04. These 144, 156 and 194-bp alleles were found in varieties ‘Kliff’, ‘Geros’ and ‘Nelson’. Cluster analysis revealed four variety clusters: ‘Senator Liuks’ and ‘Danhal’, ‘NK Technik’ and ‘NK Petrol’, ‘Geros’ and ‘Aliot’, ‘Kliff’ and ‘Nelson’. ‘Chornyi Veleten’ variety did not enter any cluster. The most distant varieties are ‘Kliff’ and ‘Nelson’ with a genetic distance value of 3.32. Foreign varieties ‘NK Technik’ and ‘NEC Petrol’ with the value of genetic distances between them equal 1.41 appeared to be the most similar by the four studied SSR markers. Other varieties differed by at least one marker. Conclusions. Consequently, using the set of four microsatellite markers provides an assessment of rapeseed varietal diversity that can be used in complex in vitro selection for drought and salt tolerance. | Цель. Наиболее подобными по четырем исследуемыми SSR маркерами оказались сорта иностранной селекции ‘НК Техник’ и ‘НК Петрол’ со значением генетических дистанций между ними 1.41. Другие сорта имеют различия по крайней мере по одному маркеру. Выводы. Таким образом, применение системы из четырех микросателлитных маркеров обеспечивает оценку сортового разнообразия рапса для комплексной селекции in vitro на засухо- и солеустойчивость.

This paper presents the results of molecular studies on testing and evaluation of multiplex test systems for the genetically modified organisms’ (GMOs) identification by PCR in real time. For the detection of genetic modifications in plants of the cabbage family (Brassicaceae) screening of major regulatory sequences is insufficient, as in genetic engineering manipulations 35S promoter – of DNA-containing cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV) is used, which presence in the test material can lead to false positive results. In this work the feasibility of testing for the presence of viral CaMV’s DNA and analysis of screened gene sequences of interest for the usage during the analysis of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) samples. It was established that the analysis of the presence/absence of a positive result for the CaMV 35S promoter is not giving complete answers to the absence of GMO in the sample. The appropriateness of GMO’s screening in rape seeds with NOS terminator and genes of interest.

An assessment of the capacity of rape variety, which is listed in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in the Ukraine.

The cost-effectiveness of examination institutions activity of the State System on Plant Variety Protection was developed on the macro level. At the present stage there is an urgent necessity to provide with general methods to solve the tasks of the state scientific-technical program of plant variety examination.

Purpose. Determine the main indicators of productivity and quality of seeds of spring rapeseed new varieties during their cultivation in different argoclimatic zones of Ukraine. Methods. Field, laboratory. Field studies were carried out on the basis of the Branches of the Ukrainian Institute for Plant Variety Examination in the zones of Polissia, Forest-Steppe and Steppe in 2015–2016. Results. The State Regis­ter of Plant Varieties Suitable for Distribution in Ukraine (the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine) as at 22 August 2019 contains 60 varieties of spring rapeseed, of which 42 (70.0%) are of foreign origin and 18 (30.0%) are Ukrainian cultivars. The maximum sown area in Ukraine occupied by spring rapeseed was about 68.3 thousand ha in 2018, which is twice as much as the area of 2013. In 2019, a dramatic decrease in sown area was observed. The productivity of the studied rapeseed varieties in 2015–2016 in the Steppe zone was on average 0.94–1.17 t/ha; Forest-steppe – 2.16–2.29; Polissia – 1.33–1.62. The yields of individual varieties exceeded 2.0 t/ha; they had a high content of oil and crude protein and a low content of erucic acid and glucosinolates in the seeds. The content of erucic acid did not exceed 0.1%, glucosinolates – 0.8%. Conclusions. The highest yield in the zones of Forest-Steppe and Polissia was observed from ‘DK 7160 KL’ variety – 2.28 t/ha and 1.62 t/ha, respectively. The maximum crude protein content in the steppe zone was found in ‘Aksana’ variety (26.6%), in the Forest-steppe zone – in ‘Bilder’ (25.4%,) in the Polissia zone – in ‘Sander’ (24.9%). High oil content in seeds in the Steppe zone was in varieties ‘Bilder’ (45.0%) and ‘DK 7155 KL’ (45.2%), in the Forest-Steppe – in ‘Sander’ (46.5%) and ‘DK 7155 KL’ (46.6%); in Polissia – in ‘DK 7160 KL’ (47.1%) and ‘DK 7155 KL’ (46.8%). The minimum content of erucic acid in the seeds of spring rapeseed in the Steppe was in the varieties ‘Aksana’ and ‘DK 7150 KL’, in the Forest-Steppe – ‘GK 7160 KL’, ‘CLICK KL’, ‘DK 7155 KL’ and in the Polissia zone – ‘DK 7160 KL’ and ‘DK 7150 KL’.

У Державному реєстрі сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні (Реєстр сортів рослин України) станом на 22.08.2019 р. міститься 60 сортів ріпаку ярого типу розвитку, з яких 42 (70,0%) – іноземної селекції та 18 (30,0%) – вітчизняної селекції. Максимальна посівна площа в Україні зайнята ріпаком ярим була в 2018 році на рівні 68,3 тис. га, що вдвічі більше площ 2013 року. У 2019 році спостерігалось кардинальне зниження посівних площ. Урожайність досліджуваних сортів ріпаку за 2015–2016 рр. у зоні Степу була в середньому 0,94–1,17 т/га; Лісостепу – 2,16–2,29; Поліссі – 1,33–1,62. Урожайність окремих сортів перевищувала 2,0 т/га, вони мали високий вміст олії та сирого протеїну і низький вміст ерукової кислоти та глюкозинолатів у насінні. Вміст ерукової кислоти не перевищував 0,1%, глюкозинолатів – 0,8%. Висновки. Максимальна урожайність у зонах Лісостепу і Полісся була в сорту ‘ДК 7160 КЛ’ – 2,28 т/га та 1,62 т/га відповідно. Максимальний вміст сирого протеїну в Степовій зоні встановлено в сорту ‘Аксана’ – 26,6%, у зоні Лісостепу в ‘Білдер’ – 25,4%, у зоні Полісся в ‘Сандер’ – 24,9%. Определить основные показатели продуктивности и качества семян новых сортов рапса ярового при выращивании их в разных аргоклиматических зонах Украины. Методы. Полевой, лабораторный. Полевые исследования проводили на базе Филиалов Украинского института экспертизы сортов растений в 2015–2016 гг. в зоне Полесья, Лесостепи и Степи. Результаты. В Государственном реестре сортов растений, пригодных для выращивания в Украине (Реестр сортов растений Украины) по состоянию на 22.08.2019 г. содержится 60 сортов рапса ярового типа развития, из которых 42 (70,0%) – иностранной селекции и 18 (30,0%) – отечественной селекции. Максимальная посевная площадь в Украине, занятая рапсом яровым, была в 2018 году на уровне 68,3 тыс. га, что вдвое больше площадей 2013 года. В 2019 году наб­людалось кардинальное снижение посевных площадей. Урожайность изучаемых сортов рапса в 2015–2016 гг. в зоне Степи была в среднем 0,94–1,17 т/га, Лесостепи – 2,16–2,29, Полесье – 1,33–1,62. Урожайность отдельных сортов превышала 2,0 т/га, они имели высокое содержание масла и сырого протеина и низкое содержание эруковой кислоты и глюкозинолатов в семенах. Содержание эруковой кислоты не превышало 0,1%, глюкозинолатов – 0,8%. Выводы. Максимальная урожайность в зоне Лесостепи и Полесья была у сорта ‘ДК 7160 КЛ’ – 2,28 и 1,62 т/га соответственно. Максимальное содержание сырого протеина в Степной зоне установлено у сорта ‘Аксана’ – 26,6%, в зоне Лесостепи –‘Билдер’ – 25,4%, в зоне Полесья – ‘Сандер’ – 24,9%. Высокое содержание масла в семенах в зоне Степи формировали сорта: ‘Билдер’ – 45,0% и ‘ДК 7155 КЛ’ – 45,2%, в Лесостепи ‘Сандер’ – 46,5% и ‘ДК 7155 КЛ’ – 46,6%, в Полесье ‘ДК 7160 КЛ’ – 47,1% и ‘ДК 7155 КЛ’ – 46,8%. Минимальное содержание эруковой кислоты в семенах рапса ярового в Степи было у сортов: ‘Аксана’, ‘ДК 7150 КЛ’, в Лесостепи: ‘ДК 7160 КЛ’, ‘КЛИК КЛ’, ‘ДК 7155 КЛ’ и в зоне Полесья: ‘ДК 7160 КЛ’, ‘ДК 7150 КЛ’.

Purpose. To analyze peculiarities of Ukrainian cereals and oilseeds trade, the situation on the world market, and determine future prospects of its development. Methods. Analysis and synthesis, comparative evaluation, graphic procedure. Results. The role and place of Ukraine in a total grain supply to the world market was determined. Ukraine is a world’s top ten grain producer. Among domestic agricultural products, cereals, oilseeds and sunflower oil are in the highest demand in the world. In recent years, our state has reinforced its status as one of the leading exporters of cereals. The commodity pattern of cereals and oilseeds export was analyzed with specifying most in-demand positions and the main countries purchasing these pro­ducts. According to the results of 2015, Ukraine obtained the highest foreign currency revenue from export of corn, wheat and barley (in grain structure) including soybeans and rapeseed (among oil crops). Key domestic and multinational operators are the main exporters of cereals and oilseeds in Ukraine and still hold their leading position. It was found a significant excess of import price of seeds as compared with export price of crops grown in Ukraine. Assortment of maize and sunflower seeds offered by major companies-producers in Ukraine was studied. Main trends of the world grain market development are considered. Conclusions. It was established that Ukraine is one of the major exporters of cereals and oilseeds. However, volatility of their prices significantly affects the export revenue that was decreasing even with increasing export quantities in kind. The dependence of domestic grain industry development on high-quality imported seed of maize and sunflower hybrids was recorded. It is expected that in the years to come Ukraine will maintain its strong positions in the world’s grain market.
