Власник сорту після укладання ліцензійної угоди отримує роялті за кожний проданий саджанець, але така схема є ризикованою як для власників сортів, так і для виробників садовини. Більша частина часу, що відведена для охорони сорту, може бути вичерпаною ще до того, як він набуде популярності в споживачів. Для подолання негативних рис, притаманних «відкритим» сортам, застосовуються нові маркетингові механізми з використанням «закритих», або клубних сортів. За великих обсягів постачання багатьох сортів виробники вважають нові клубні сорти необхідними для підтримання прибутковості. Прогнозують, що найближчим часом частка клубних сортів може збільшитися із теперішніх 5 до 15–20%. Висновки. Ліцензування торговельної марки стимулює маркетолога розвивати бренд, який може сприяти тривалому і невизначеному періоду винятковості сорту з розширенням можливостей управління інтелектуальною власністю, виробництвом садовини та її якістю. Дохід власника сорту внаслідок використання торговельної марки під час продажу плодів може бути тривалішим і більшим. Яблука, що відповідають стандартам якості, продають під брендовими назвами за вищими цінами, збільшуючи прибуток і забезпечуючи стабільніший річний дохід для виробника. Ефективність системи брендів означає, що в майбутньому нові сорти яблук виходитимуть у світ виключно під власним брендом, а впровадження нових сортів надасть більших переваг виробникам та споживачам садовини. | Цель. Доход собственника сорта вследствие использования торговой марки во время продажи плодов, может быть более длительным и бóльшим. Проанализировать сортовое разнообразие пионов Ито-группы коллекции Национального ботанического сада имени Н. Н. Гришко НАН Украины и определить их биологические особенности в новых условиях интродукции.Методы. Интродукционные исследования, фенологические наблюдения, морфометрия, статистическая обработка результатов.Результаты. Проанализировано сортовое разнообразие пионов Ито-группы коллекции Национального ботанического сада имени Н. Н. Гришко НАН Украины. Описаны декоративные признаки сортов, определены особенности их роста и развития в условиях интродукции. Продолжительность вегетации растений сор­тов Ито-группы составляла 218–225 суток. Отрастание растений начиналось 23 марта – 2 апреля, цветение 19–28 мая. Бутонизация растений наблюдалась в первой декаде мая и продолжалась 16–20 дней. В условиях интродукции ранее всего (19–20 мая) зацветали сорта ‘Morning Lilac’ и ‘Sonoma Apricot’, позже всего (28 мая) – ‘Viking Full Moon’, ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’, ‘Yellow Waterlily’. Высота генеративных побегов растений в фазу цветения колебалась в пределах 60–90 см. Растения входили в состояние зимнего покоя, имея сформированные генеративные побеги, которые успешно зимовали. Возобновление растений происходило как за счет почек, заложенных на нижней части стебля, так и за счет почек, которые формировались на корневище. Побегообразующая способность и продуктивность цветения составляла 6,0±2,5–19,5±4,0 побегов и 4,5±1,5–16,0±3,0 генеративных побегов на растение соответственно. Высокопродуктивными были сорта: ‘First Arrival’, ‘Sonoma Apricot’, ‘Hillary’, ‘Bartzella’, ‘Morning Lilac’, ‘Lollipop’, ‘Old Rose Dandy’.Выводы. Коллекцию пионов Национального ботанического сада имени Н. Н. Гришко НАН Украины пополнено сортами группы Ито. Максимально полно представлено селекцию Р. Андерсона 1980–1990 гг. В коллекции преобладают гибриды с полумахровой формой цветка желтой окраски. В условиях интродукции сорта сохраняют все свои декоративные и хозяйственно-биологические характеристики. The height of generative shoots of plants in flowe­ring phase ranged from 60 to90 cm. Plants go dormant in winter, having formed generative shoots that successfully winter. Reproduction of plants occurs both due to the buds that form on the lower part of the stem, and the buds that form on the rhizome. The shoot-forming ability and flowering productivity are 6.0±2.5 – 19.5±4.0 shoots and 4.5±1.5 – 16.0±3.0 generative shoots per plant, respectively. Cultivars ‘First Arrival’, ‘Sonoma Apricot’, ‘Hillary’, ‘Bartzella’, ‘Morning Lilac’, ‘Lollipop’, ‘Old Rose Dandy’ are highly productive. Conclusions. The collection of peonies of the M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden National Botanical Garden National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine has been expanded by Itoh Group cultivars. The R. Anderson’s breeds of 1980–1990 are more fully represented. An analysis of the ornamental features of the varieties showed that the hybrids with a semi-double flower shape of a yellow color dominate the collection. Cultivars retain all their ornamental and economic characteristics under conditions of introduction. The Itoh group varieties of the collection can be material for developing technologies for their cultivation and propagation, can be a source of replenishment and expansion of regional botanical gardens collections, planting material for gardening and landscaping, and also perform an educational and cognitive function. | Мета. Відростання рослин розпочиналось 23 березня – 2 квітня, цвітіння 19–28 травня. Бутонізацію рослин спостерігали в першій декаді травня і тривала вона 16–20 днів. В умовах інтродукції найраніше (19–20 травня) зацвітали сорти ‘Morning Lilac’ та ‘Sonoma Apricot’, найпізніше (28 травня) – ‘Viking Full Moon’, ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’, ‘Yellow Waterlily’. Висота генеративних пагонів рослин у фазу цвітіння коливалася в межах 60–90 см. Рослини входили у стан зимового спокою із сформованими генеративними пагонами, які успішно зимували. Поновлення рослин відбувалось як за рахунок бруньок, закладених на нижній частині стебла, так і за рахунок бруньок, які формувались на кореневищі. Пагоноутворювальна здатність та продуктивність цвітіння на третій рік культивування становила 6,0±2,5–19,5±4,0 пагонів та 4,5±1,5–16,0±3,0 генеративних пагонів на рослину, відповідно. Високопродуктивними були сорти: ‘First Arrival’, ‘Sonoma Apricot’, ‘Hillary’, ‘Bartzella’, ‘Morning Lilac’, ‘Lollipop’, ‘Old Rose Dandy’. Висновки. Колекцію півоній Національного ботанічного саду імені М. М. Гришка розширено сортами групи Іто. Максимально повно представлено селекцію Р. Андерсона 1980–1990 рр. У колекції переважають гібриди з напівмахровою формою квітки жовтого забарвлення. В умовах інтродукції сорти зберігають усі свої декоративні та господарсько-біологічні характеристики. Зібрані в колекції сорти Іто-групи можуть використовувати для розроблення технології їхнього культивування та розмноження, бути джерелом поповнення та розширення колекцій регіональних ботанічних садів, садивного матеріалу для садівництва та озеленення, виконувати навчально-пізнавальну функцію.

Purpose. To analyze collection samples by yield, protein and starch content in grain, its granulometric composition and highlight valuable sources for creating varieties sui­table for bioethanol processing.Methods. To assess the collection material, field, laboratory, measurement and weight, mathematical and statistical research methods were used.  The analysis of chemical quality indicators of triticale grain was carried out by infrared spectrometry on an Infratec 1241 device. The size of starch granules was determined by light microscopy and using the ImageJ computer program. Statistical processing of the obtained research results was carried out with the introduction of the computer program Statistica 6.Results. The results of studies on the collection of winter triticale by the main signs of suitability for bioethanol processing are presented. The grain yield in collection samples on average over the years of research ranged from 3.69 to 5.17 t/ha. The best samples were identified – numbers 181, 101, 185, 219 and the variety ’Arystokrat’ with a yield of 5.01–5.17 t/ha. By the high starch content numbers 123 (69.5%), 101 (69.8%) and the varieties ‘Petrol’ (69.0%), ‘Solodiuk’ (70.1%) and ‘Liubomyr’ (70.3%) were selected. A moderate negative correlation was found between yield and protein content (r = -0.37) and a significant negative correlation was found between starch and protein content (r = -0.64). The analysis of collection samples of winter triticale by granulometric starch composition was carried out. Maximum size of starch granules in the collection samples ranged from 19.4 to 32.7 µm, the minimum – 9.9 to 15.7 µm, and the variability range for the average size of granules was 15.4–20.0 µm. Varieties ‘Yasha’ and ‘Mundo’ were distinguished by the smal­lest average granule size of starch (15.4 and 15.6 µm) and uniformity of particle size distribution.Conclusions. Sources of valuable traits were identified by high productivity, starch content and aligned and fine granule size distribution. A moderate correlation between productivity and protein content and a significant negative correlation between starch and protein content was revealed. | Цель. Проанализировать коллекционные образцы по урожайности и содержанию в зерне белка и крахмала, его гранулометрическому составу и выделить ценные источники для создания сортов, пригодных для переработки на биоэтанол.Методы. Для оценки коллекционного материала применяли полевые, лабораторные, измерительно-весовые и математико-статистические методы исследований. Анализировали химические показатели качества зерна тритикале методом инфракрасной спектрометрии на приборе Infratec 1241. За высоким содержанием крахмала выделены номера 123 (69,5%), 101 (69,8%) и сорта ‘Петрол’ (69,0%), ‘Солодюк’ (70,1%) и ‘Любомир’ (70,3%). Выявлена умеренная отрицательная корреляция урожайности с содержанием белка (r = -0,37) и значительная отрицательная – между содержанием крахмала и белка (r = -0,64). Проанализированы коллекционные образцы тритикале озимой по гранулометрическому составу крахмала. Максимальный размер крахмальных гранул у коллекционных образцов варьировал от 19,4 до 32,7 мкм, минимальный – от 9,9 до 15,7 мкм, а по среднему размеру гранул диапазон изменчивости сос­тавлял 15,4–20,0 мкм. Выделены сорта ‘Яша’ и ‘Mundo’ с наименьшим средним размером гранул крахмала (15,4 и 15,6 мкм) и однородным гранулометрическим составом.Выводы. Выделены источники ценных признаков высокой урожайности, содержания крахмала и выровненного и мелкого гранулометрического состава. Выявлена умеренная корреляционная связь между урожайностью и содержанием белка и значительная отрицательная – между содержанием крахмала и белка | Мета. Хімічні показники якості зерна тритикале аналізували методом інфрачервоної спектрометрії на приладі Infratec 1241. Розмір гранул крохмалю визначали методом світлової мікроскопії із застосуванням комп’ютерної програми ImageJ. Статистичну обробку отриманих результатів досліджень здійснювали з використанням комп’ютерної програми Statistica 6. Результати. Наведено результати досліджень з вивчення колекції тритикале озимого за основними ознаками придатності для переробки на біоетанол. Врожайність зерна у колекційних зразків у середньому за роки досліджень становила від 3,69 до 5,17 т/га. Виділено кращі зразки – номери 181, 101, 185, 219 і сорт ‘Аристократ’ із врожайністю 5,01–5,17 т/га. За високим умістом крохмалю виділено номери 123 (69,5%), 101 (69,8%) та сорти ‘Петрол’ (69,0%), ‘Солодюк’ (70,1%) і ‘Любомир’ (70,3%). Установлено помірну від’ємну кореляцію врожайності із вмістом білка (r = -0,37) та значну від’ємну – між умістом крохмалю і білка (r = -0,64). Проаналізовано колекційні зразки тритикале озимого за гранулометричним складом крохмалю. Максимальний розмір крохмальних гранул у колекційних зразків варіював від 19,4 до 32,7 мкм, мінімальний – від 9,9 до 15,7 мкм, а за середнім розміром гранул діапазон мінливості становив 15,4–20,0 мкм. Виділено сорти ‘Яша’ і ‘Mundo’ за найменшим середнім розміром гранул крохмалю (15,4 і 15,6 мкм) та вирівняністю гранулометричного складу.Висновки. Виділено джерела цінних ознак за високою врожайністю, вмістом крохмалю та вирівняним і дрібним гранулометричним складом. Установлено помірний кореляційний зв’язок між урожайністю і вмістом білка та значний від’ємний – між вмістом крохмалю і білка.

Purpose. To analyze collection samples by yield, protein and starch content in grain, its granulometric composition and highlight valuable sources for creating varieties sui­table for bioethanol processing. Methods. To assess the collection material, field, laboratory, measurement and weight, mathematical and statistical research methods were used.  The analysis of chemical quality indicators of triticale grain was carried out by infrared spectrometry on an Infratec 1241 device. The size of starch granules was determined by light microscopy and using the ImageJ computer program. Statistical processing of the obtained research results was carried out with the introduction of the computer program Statistica 6. Results. The results of studies on the collection of winter triticale by the main signs of suitability for bioethanol processing are presented. The grain yield in collection samples on average over the years of research ranged from 3.69 to 5.17 t/ha. The best samples were identified – numbers 181, 101, 185, 219 and the variety ’Arystokrat’ with a yield of 5.01–5.17 t/ha. By the high starch content numbers 123 (69.5%), 101 (69.8%) and the varieties ‘Petrol’ (69.0%), ‘Solodiuk’ (70.1%) and ‘Liubomyr’ (70.3%) were selected. A moderate negative correlation was found between yield and protein content (r = -0.37) and a significant negative correlation was found between starch and protein content (r = -0.64). The analysis of collection samples of winter triticale by granulometric starch composition was carried out. Maximum size of starch granules in the collection samples ranged from 19.4 to 32.7 µm, the minimum – 9.9 to 15.7 µm, and the variability range for the average size of granules was 15.4–20.0 µm. Varieties ‘Yasha’ and ‘Mundo’ were distinguished by the smal­lest average granule size of starch (15.4 and 15.6 µm) and uniformity of particle size distribution. Conclusions. Sources of valuable traits were identified by high productivity, starch content and aligned and fine granule size distribution. A moderate correlation between productivity and protein content and a significant negative correlation between starch and protein content was revealed.

Вивчити сорти сої різного походження за вмістом білка та іншими господарськими ознаками, визначити показники стабільності та пластичності цих ознак, а також виділити сорти, перспективні для використання у селекційних програмах.Методи. Польові, лабораторні, біохімічні та статистичні.Результати. Досліджено 22 сорти сої за врожайністю, вмістом білка та олії в насінні. Виділено пластичні сорти, що мають високу врожайність: ‘Муза’, ‘Ментор’, ‘Асука’, ‘Валас’, ‘Кофу’, ‘Кардіф’, ‘Алігатор’, ‘Вишиванка’, ‘Сузір’я’ та стабільні за врожайністю сорти вітчизняної селекції ‘Сіверка’, ‘Вільшанка’, ‘Устя’, а також сорт ‘Лісабон’. Найвищий уміст білка відмічено у сорту ‘Опус’ – 45,0% у 2017 році. Цей сорт у середньому за три роки показав 43,63% білка в насінні і поступався тільки сорту ‘Устя’ (44,3%). Проте значно вище значення коефіцієнта регресії b = 4,289  у сорту ‘Лісабон’ показало його високу чутливість до умов вирощування при досить низькому середньому значенні вмісту білка в насінні (38,60%), як і сорт ‘Сілесія‘ (b = 4,289) при середньому значенні білковості – 42,73%.  Сорт-стандарт ‘Муза’ при низькій білковості 38,60% був досить стабільним за проявом цієї ознаки – S2 = 0,222.  Виділено низку сортів з високим вмістом олії в насінні: ‘Валас’ – 22,77%, ‘Сігалія’ – 22,7%, ‘Алігатор’,  ‘Сіверка’ – 22,53%, ‘Кофу’ – 22,13%, сорт-стандарт ‘Муза’ – 21,77%.Висновки. У селекційних програмах, спрямованих на підвищення вмісту білка в насінні, слід використовувати  сорти: ‘Опус’ – як носій максимального значення ознаки, ‘Устя’, ‘Асука’, ‘Сілесія’ та ‘Касіді’ – як високоврожайні з високим умістом білка. Погодні умови року неоднаково впливали на прояв  досліджуваних ознак: у сприятливий для отримання високих урожаїв рік вміст білка в насінні знижувався, у посушливіший рік уміст білка був вищим, а вміст олії в насінні змінювався незначно. | Цель. Изучить сорта сои различного происхождения по содержанию белка и других хозяйственно ценных признаках, определить показатели стабильности и пластичности этих признаков, а также выделить сорта, перспективные для использования в селекционных программах.Методы. Полевые, лабораторные, биохимические и статистические.Результаты. Исследовано 22 сорта сои различного происхождения по урожайности, содержанию белка и масла в семенах. Выделено высокоурожайные высокопластичные сорта: ‘Муза’, ‘Ментор’, ‘Асука’, ‘Валас’, ‘Кофу’, ‘Кардиф’, ‘Аллигатор’, ‘Вышиванка’, ‘Сузирья’ и стабильные по урожайности сорта отечественной селекции ‘Сиверка’, ‘Вильшанка’, ‘Устя’, а также сорт ‘Лиссабон’. Высокое содержание белка отмечено у сорта ‘Опус’ – 45,0% в 2017 году. Этот сорт в среднем за три года показал 43,63% белка в семенах и уступал только сорту ‘Устя’ (44,3%). Однако высокое значение коэффициента регрессии b = 4,289 у сорта ‘Лиссабон’ показало его высокую чувствительность к условиям выращивания при достаточно низком среднем значении содержания белка в семенах (38,60%), как и сорт ‘Силесия’ (b = 4,289) при среднем значении белковости – 42,73%. Сорт-стандарт ‘Муза’ при низкой белковости 38,60% был достаточно стабильным по проявлению этого признака – S2 = 0,222. Выделен ряд высокомасличных сортов: ‘Валас’ – 22,77%, ‘Сигалия’ – 22,7%, ‘Аллигатор’, ‘Сиверка’ – 22,53%, ‘Кофу’ – 22,13%, сорт-стандарт ‘Муза’ – 21,77%.Выводы. В селекционных программах, направленных на повышение содержания белка в семенах, следует использовать сорта: ‘Опус’ – как носитель максимального значения признака, а также ‘Устя’, ‘Асука’, ‘Силесия’ и ‘Касиди’ – как объединяющие высокую урожайность и высокое содержание белка. Purpose. Evaluate buckwheat Fagopyrum esculentum Moench varieties by morphological characteristics by using the nearest neighbors algorithm and identify groups of similar varieties by plant varieties clustering procedure. Methods. Analytical, mathematical, statistical. As input information for statistical processing, the results of the exa­mination for distinctness, uniformity and stability (DUS) from the database of the automated information system of the Ukrainian Institute for the Examination of Plant Varieties were used. The simulation was performed using Nearest Neighbors algorithm, which belong to Machine Learning method. Data processing was carried out by using trial version of the statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics “Statistical Package for the Social Sciences”. The follo­wing types of variables were used as model parameters: target (optional) variable is “Plant: growth type”, focal case identifier is “Plant: ploidy”, case name is Varieties Name, feature variables are “Cotyledon: anthocyanin coloration”, “Stem: anthocyanin coloration”, “Inflorescence: anthocyanin coloration of bud”, “Time of beginning flowering”, “Plant: height”, “Leaf blade: shape of base”, “Leaf blade: intensity of green color”, “Flower: size”, “Flower: color of petals”, “Flower: length of pedicel”, “Plant: total number of flower clusters”, “Stem: length”, “Stem: number of nodes”, “Stem: diameter”, “Time of maturity”, “Seed: length”, “Seed: shape”, “Seed: skin color”, “Seed: 1000 seed weight”. This model contains 25 buckwheat varieties, included in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine in 2020. These varieties are of foreign and domestic origin. Results. The model of similar buckwheat varieties was a result of computer modeling. This model was based on seventeen morphological features, selected using frequency analysis of buckwheat morphological features. The generated model contained 17 training objects (varieties) and nine control objects (varieties). 22 groups of similar varieties of common buckwheat were identified. Conclusion. The most similar groups of varieties are the following: first – ‘Krupnozelena’, ‘Dykul’, ‘Deviatka’ that ‘Yuvileina 100’; second – ‘Ruta’, ‘Malwa ’,‘Nadiina’ and ‘Volodar’; third – ‘Kseniia’, ‘Simka’, ‘Selianochka’ and ‘Malva’. | Цель. Оценить сорта гречихи посевной Fagopyrum esculentum Moench по морфологическим признакам с использованием алгоритма ближайших соседей с помощью кластеризации сортов растений и идентифицировать группы похожих сортов.Методы. Аналитический, математический, статистический. В качестве входной информации для статистической обработки были использованы результатные данные экспертизы на отличимость, однородность и стабильность (OОС) из базы данных автоматизированной информационной системы Украинского института экспертизы сортов растений. Моделирование было проведено с использованием алгоритма ближайших соседей, методом Machine Learning в среде статистического пакета IBM SPSS Statistics «Statistical Package for the Social Sciences». В качестве параметров модели были использованы следующие типы переменных: целевая переменная – признак «Растение: тип роста», фокусная переменная – «Растение плоидность», метка наблюдений – «Название сорта». Перечень показателей (features) составляли следующие признаки: «Растение: плоидность», «Стебель: антоциановая окраска», «Соцветие: антоциановая окраска почки», «Время начала цветения», «Растение: тип роста», «Растение: по высоте», «Цветок: окраска лепестков», «Стебель: по длине», «Стебель: количество узлов», «Стебель: диаметр», «Время созревания», «Семя: по длине», «Семя: форма», «Семя: окрас­ка кожуры», «Семена: масса 1000 шт.». В состав модели были взяты 25 сортов гречихи посевной отечественного и зарубежного происхождения, которые включены в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных для распространения в Украине на 2020 год.Результаты. В результате компьютерного моделирования была сформирована модель подобных сортов гречихи посевной по семнадцати морфологическим признакам, которые отобраны с применением частотного анализа проявления морфологических признаков. Сформированная модель содержала 17 тренировочных объектов (сортов) и девять контрольных объектов (сортов). Было идентифицировано 22 группы подобных сортов гречихи посевной.Выводы. Сорта гречихи посевной Fagopyrum esculentum Moench оценили по морфологическим признакам с использованием алгоритма ближайших соседей с помощью кластеризации подобных сортов растений. Были идентифицированы такие, наиболее подобные, группы сортов: первая – ‘Крупнозэлэна’, ‘Дыкуль’, ‘Девятка’ и ‘Ювилейная 100’; вторая – ‘Рута’, ‘Мальва’, ‘Надийна’ и ‘Володар’; третья – ‘Ксения’, ‘Симка’, ‘Селяночка’ и ‘Мальва’. | Мета. До складу моделі було узято 25 сортів гречки їстівної вітчизняного та іноземного походження, які включені до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні на 2020 рік.Результати. Унаслідок комп’ютерного моделювання було сформовано модель подібних сортів гречки їстівної за сімнадцятьма морфологічними ознаками, які відібрано із застосуванням частотного аналізу проявлення морфологічних ознак. Сформована модель містила 17 тренувальних об’єктів (сортів) та дев’ять контрольних об’єктів (сортів). Було ідентифіковано 22 групи подібних сортів гречки їстівної.Висновки. Сорти гречки їстівної F. esculentum було оцінено за морфологічними ознаками з використанням алгоритму найближчих сусідів за допомогою кластеризації подібних сортів рослин. Було ідентифіковано такі найподібніші групи сортів: перша – ‘Крупнозелена’, ‘Дикуль’, ‘Дев’ятка’ та ‘Ювілейна 100’; друга – ‘Рута’, ‘Мальва’, ‘Надійна’ та ‘Володар’; третя – ‘Ксенія’, ‘Сімка’, ‘Селяночка’ та ‘Мальва’.

The new species Leucoagaricus variicolor is described from a public park in Zaragoza, Spain, based on both morphological and molecular characters. Illustrations of fresh basidiomata in situ and of the main macro- and micromorphological features are added. Leucoagaricus variicolor belongs to section Piloselli and is compared with similar taxa.

Pourpose. Establish compliance of heat and moisture resources to biological requirements of sunflower hybrids (Helianthus annuus), reveal criteria for assessing weather conditions in the northern regions of Ukraine; establish links between temperature, precipitation and yield.Methods. Field and mathematical methods were used. Field multifactorial experiment was conducted during 2016–2018 in the Left Bank of Ukraine, on the border of two soil and climatic zones of Ukraine - Forest-Steppe and Polissya. Peculiarities of plant growth and development, formation of "hybrids" yield (factor A) were studied: 'Ukrainskyi F1', 'P63LL06', 'NK Brio', 'NK Ferti' depending on "plant density" (factor B): 50, 55 , 60, 65 thousand pieces/hectare. We calculated and analyzed the sums of active, effective temperatures for two biological minima - 5 and 10 ° C; the sum of thermal units according to the method of Brown and Bootsma, 1993; coefficients of materiality of elements deviations of the agrometeorological mode of the current year from long-term averages; plasticity and yield stability according to the method of Eberthart S.A., Russel W.Q. (1966).Results. To pass the full cycle of sunflower plants development, the sum of active temperatures (t = 10 °C) for hybrid 'Ukrainskyi F1' – 2354.6; P63LL06 – 2306.4; 'NK Brio' – 2401.3; 'NK Ferti' – 2379.7; and the sum of effective temperatures for 'Ukrainskyi F1'- 1081.5; 'P63LL06' – 1056.9; 'NK Brio' – 1104.9; 'NK Ferti' – 1109.1 is required. The sum of temperatures, both at a biological minimum temperature 10 °C and 5 °C, meet biological needs of sunflower plants and is not a limiting factor for this crop growing. The sum of thermal units for the period April–October is 3780 on average for three years. During the period of active sunflower vegetation (April–August) the sum of thermal units is 2868–3258, significantly exceeding the sum of active and effective temperatures at biologically active temperatures 5 °С and 10 °С. The most determined limits of changes in active, effective temperatures and thermal units were observed in May – September.Conclusions. Plasticity and stability of sunflower yield more depending on hybrid and plants density than on conditions of the year. Yield stability coefficient for hybrid 'Ukrainskyi F1' was 1.68 - 2.30; 'P63LL06'- 2.51 - 3.14; 'NK Brio'- 3.15 - 4.63; 'NK Ferti' - 2.70 - 3.75 for yields, respectively: 2.16 - 3.11; 2.58 - 3.52; 3.20 - 4.12; 2.70 - 3.79 t/ha. | Мета. Встановити відповідність ресурсів тепла та вологи біологічним вимогам гібридів соняшнику (Helianthus annuus L.); встановити критеріальні показники оцінювання погодних умов в північних регіонах України; встановити зв’язки між температурним режимом, сумою опадів та врожайністю.Методи. Використовували польовий та математичний методи. Польовий багатофакторний дослід проводили в 2016–2018 роках в Лівобережному Лісостепу України на межі двох ґрунтово-кліматичних зон – Лісостепу і Полісся. Досліджували особливості росту та розвитку рослин, формування врожайності «гібридів» (фактор А) ‘Український F1’, ‘Р63LL06’, ‘НК Бріо’, ‘НК Ферті’ залежно від «густоти рослин» (фактор В): 50, 55, 60, 65 тис. шт./га. Розраховували й аналізували суми активних та ефективних температур за двома біологічними мінімумами – 5 і 10 °С; суми теплових одиниць за методикою Brown and Bootsma (1993); коефіцієнти суттєвості відхилень елементів погоди поточного року від середніх багаторічних; пластичність і стабільність урожайності за методикою Eberthart S. A., Russel W. Q. (1966).Результати. Для проходження повного циклу розвитку рослин соняшнику необхідна сума активних температур (tб.м. = 10 °C) для гібрида ‘Український F1’ – 2354,6; ‘Р63LL06’ – 2306,4; ‘НК Бріо’ – 2401,3; ‘НК Ферті’ – 2379,7; сума ефективних температур: ‘Український F1’ – 1081,5; ‘Р63LL06’ – 1056,9; ‘НК Бріо’ – 1104,9; ‘НК Ферті’ – 1109,1. Суми температур як за температурою біологічного мінімуму 10 °C, так і 5 °C, відповідають біологічним потребам рослин соняшнику і не є обмежувальним чинником для вирощування. Сума теплових одиниць за період квітень–жовтень складала в середньому за три роки 3780. За період активної вегетації соняшнику (квітень–серпень) сума теплових одиниць складала 2868–3258, суттєво перевищуючи суму активних та ефективних температур за біологічно активних температур 5 °С і 10 °С. Найбільш детерміновані межі змін активних, ефективних температур і теплових одиниць спостерігали в період травень–вересень.Висновки. Пластичність і стабільність урожайності соняшнику більше змінюються залежно від гібрида і густоти рослин, ніж від умов року. Коефіцієнт стабільності врожайності для гібрида ‘Український F1’ склав 1,68–2,30; ‘Р63LL06’ – 2,51–3,14; ‘НК Бріо’ – 3,15–4,63; ‘НК Ферті’ – 2,70–3,75 за урожайності 2,16–3,11; 2,58–3,52; 3,20–4,12; 2,70–3,79 т/га, відповідно. | Цель. Установить соответствие ресурсов тепла и влаги биологическим потребностям гибридов подсолнечника (Helianthus annuus L.); установить критериальные показатели оценивания погодных условий в северных регионах Украины; установить связь между температурным режимом, осадками и урожайностью.Методы. Использовали полевой и математический методы. Полевой многофакторный опыт проводили в 2016–2018 годах в Левобережной Лесостепи Украины. Исследовали особенности роста и развития растений, формирования урожайности «гибридов» (фактор А): ‘Украинский F1’, ‘Р63LL06’, ‘НК Брио’, ‘НК Ферти’ в зависимости от «густоты стояния растений» (фактор В): 50, 55, 60, 65 тыс. штук/га. Рассчитывали и анализировали суммы активных, эффективных температур по  двум биологическим минимумам – 5 и 10 °С; суммы тепловых единиц по методике Brown and Bootsma (1993); коэффициенты существенности отклонений погодных условий от средних многолетних данных; пластичность и стабильность урожайности по методике Eberthart S. A., Russel W. Q. (1966).Результаты. Для прохождения полного цикла развития растений подсолнечника, необходима сумма активных температур (tб.м. = 10 °C) для гибрида ‘Украинский F1’ – 2355; ‘Р63LL06’ – 2306; ‘НК Брио’ – 2401; ‘НК Ферти’ – 2380; сумма эффективных температур: ‘Украинский F1’ – 1082; ‘Р63LL06’ – 1057; ‘НК Брио’ – 1104,9; ‘НК Ферти’ – 1109. Суммы температур как при биологическом минимуме 10 °C, так и 5 °C, соответствуют биологическим требованиям растений подсолнечника и не являются лимитирующим фактором для выращивания. Сумма тепловых единиц за период апрель–октябрь составляла в среднем за три года – 3780. В период активной вегетации подсолнечника (апрель–август) сумма тепловых единиц составляла 2868–3258 и существенно превышала сумму активных и эффективных температур при биологически активных температурах 5 °С и 10 °С. Наиболее детерминированные границы изменений активных, эффективных температур и тепловых единиц наблюдали в мае–сентябре.Выводы. Пластичность и стабильность урожайности подсолнечника больше изменяются в зависимости от гибрида и густоты стояния растений, чем от погодных условий года. Коэффициент стабильности урожайности для гибрида ‘Украинский F1’ составил 1,68–2,30; ‘Р63LL06’ – 2,51–3,14; ‘НК Брио’ – 3,15–4,63; ‘НК Ферти’ – 2,70–3,75 при урожайности 2,16–3,11; 2,58–3,52; 3,20–4,12; 2,70–3,79 т/га соответственно.

Analysis of the allelic state of Ppd-1 genes, which control sensitivity to photoperiod, in varieties and lines of bread winter wheat, and comparison of the results obtained with field observations on the duration of periods before heading and flowering, whose originators were the Nosivska Breeding and Research Station of the V. M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and Poltava State Agrarian Academy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.Methods. The following methods were used in the work: DNA extraction, allele-specific PCR, agarose and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, analysis of variance.Results. It was revealed that ‘Yuvivata 60’ variety has a recessive Ppd-1 genotype and belongs to the III haplotype by a combination of mutations in the structure of Ppd-D1 gene. Line ‘L41/95’ was heterogeneous by alleles of Ppd-D1 gene, which corresponded to the presence of haplotypes III and VII. All other tested cultivars and lines were characterized by alleles Ppd-A1b, Ppd-B1b and Ppd-D1a, and assigned to haplotype VII. According to the results of statistical data processing, the duration of the period from May, 1 to heading was the smallest for the variety ‘Donskaya polukarlikovaya’ in the conditions of both the Forest-Steppe and Polissia-Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine, the longest – in the varieties ‘Yuvivata 60’, ‘Myronivska 61’ and ‘L41/95’. The differences between these groups were significant and amounted to 10 days.Conclusions. A breeding material with a high adaptive ability for growing conditions in Polissia-Forest-Steppe zone was studied by the allelic state of the Ppd-1 genes. A low level of polymorphism in the studied varieties and lines was revealed by the alleles of Ppd-1 genes [12.5% – Ppd-D1b (²²²), 12.5% – Ppd-D1à/b (²²²/VII), 75% – Ppd-D1a (VII)], that agrees with the hypothesis that breeders gave a greater preference for the photoperiod-insensitive wheat genotype under Ukrainian conditions. The genotypes with the dominant Ppd-D1a (VII) gene almost completely dominate in the south of Ukraine. At the same time, in northern latitudes, weather conditions negate the advantages of the genotypes with Ppd-D1a gene | Мета. Визначення алельного стану генів Ppd-1, що контролюють чутливість до фотоперіоду, у сортів та ліній пшениці м’якої озимої Носівської селекційно-дослідної станції Миронівського інституту пшениці ім. В. М. Ремесла НААН (НСДС МІП) і Полтавської державної аграрної академії МОН України (ПДАА), та зіставлення отриманих результатів молекулярно-генетичного аналізу з даними польових спостережень щодо строків колосіння та цвітіння.Методи. Виділення ДНК, алель-специфічна ПЛР, електрофорез фрагментів ампліфікації в агарозних та полі­акриаламідних гелях, дисперсійний аналіз.Результати. Визначено, що сорт ‘Ювівата 60’ має рецесивний генотип Ppd-1 та належить до ІІІ гаплотипу за комбінацією мутацій у структурі Ppd-D1 гена. Лінія ‘Л41/95’ виявилася гетерогенною за алелями гена Ppd-D1, що відповідало наявності гаплотипів III і VII. Усі інші досліджені зразки характеризувалися алелями Ppd-A1b, Ppd-B1b та Ppd-D1а та належали до гаплотипу VII. За результатами статистичної обробки даних тривалість періоду від першого травня до колосіння була найменшою в сорту ‘Донская полукарликовая’ в умовах як Лісостепу, так і Полісся–Лісостепу Ук­раїни, найбільшою – у сортів ‘Ювівата 60’, ‘Миронівська 61’ та лінії ‘Л41/95’. Відмінності між зазначеними групами були достовірними й становили приблизно 10 діб.Висновки. За алельним станом генів Ppd-1 досліджено селекційний матеріал з високою адаптивною здатністю для умов вирощування в перехідній зоні Полісся–Лісостеп. За алелями генів Ppd-1 досліджені сорти та лінії виявили невисокий рівень поліморфізму [12,5% – Ppd-D1b (ІІІ), 12,5% – Ppd-D1а/b (ІІІ/VII), 75% – Ppd-D1a (VII)], що узгоджується з гіпо­тезою надання селекціонерами більшої переваги слабкочутливим до фотоперіоду генотипам пшениці в умовах України. Генотипи з домінантним алелем Ppd-D1a (VII) в умовах Півдня України практично повністю домінують. Водночас у північніших широтах погодні умови нівелюють переваги, що мають генотипи з Ppd-D1a.

Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine.Methods. Plant raw material investigated at the flowering stage (17 genotypes) and the end of vegetation (20 genotypes) of Silphium spp. 3 species and 4 cultivars studied for the content of nutrients at the flowering. Determination of dry matter, ash, calcium, nitrogenfree extractives conducted according to Hrytsaienko et al. (2003), phosphorus, protein – according to Pochinok (1976), sugars – according to Krishchenko (1983), cellulose – according to Zheng et al. (2018), lipids – according to Zamowski, Suzuki (2004). It was used productivity parameters: yield of above-ground mass, the yield of dry mass, energetic value, yield of energy. Data analyzed statistically.Results. Investigation of nutrients content showed that content of dry matter was in the range of 18.90–29.3%, protein – in the range of 8.88–23.56%, cellulose – 15.10–36.14%, ash – 8.13–12.19%, lipids – 1.83–3.97%; yield of above-ground mass – 45.0–139.0 t/ha, the yield of dry matter – 10.31–36.92 t/ha, energy value – 3933–4249 cal/g, and yield of energy – 43.81–149.27 Gcal/ha. A study of genotypes at the flowering and end of vegetation identified that the content of dry matter for all samples was in a range of 18.38–67.49%, sugars – 2.78–19.0%, ash – 3.93–11.20%, calcium – 1.68–5.99%, phosphorus – 0.14–1.21%, energy value – 3153.36– 3770.28 cal/g.Conclusions. Plant raw material of genotypes of Silphium L. spp. is a valuable source of nutrients. The content of ash, its components, energetic value, and parameters of productivity depending on genotype and stage of growth. The results allow recommending selected Silphium genotypes as perspective energetic crops in Ukraine as well as other countries. | Мета. Це дослідження мало на меті визначити деякі біохімічні параметри та продуктивність генофонду рослин роду Silphium L. у Національному ботанічному саду імені M. M. Гришка НАН України.Методи. Рослинна сировина Silphium досліджена у фазі квітування (17 генотипів) та в кінці вегетації (20 генотипів). Уміст поживних речовин під час квітування вивчено у 3 видів та 4 сортів рослин. Визначення вмісту сухої речовини, золи, кальцію, безазотистих екстрактивних речовин проводили за Грицаєнком і співавт. (2003), фосфору, білка – за Починок (1976), цукрів – за Крищенко (1983), целюлози – за Zheng et al. (2018), ліпідів – за Zamowski, Suzuki (2004). Були визначені параметри продуктивності рослин: урожайність наземної маси, вихід сухої маси, енергетична цінність сировини та вихід енергії з одиниці площі. Дані аналізовані статистично.Результати. Дослідження вмісту поживних речовин показало, що вміст сухої речовини знаходився в межах 18,90–29,3%, білка – 8,88–23,56, целюлози – 15,10–36,14, золи – 8,13–12,19, ліпідів – 1,83–3,97%; урожайність наземної маси – 45,0–139,0 т/га, вихід сухої речовини – 10,31–36,92 т/га, енергетична цінність фітосировини – 3933–4249 кал/г, вихід енергії з урожаєм – 43,81–149,27 Гкал/га. Дослідження генотипів у період квітування та в кінці вегетації дало змогу виявити, що вміст сухої речовини в усіх зразках становив 18,38–67,49%, цукрів – 2,78–19,0, золи – 3,93–11,20, кальцію – 1,68–5,99, фосфору – 0,14–1,21%, енергетична цінність – 3153,36–3770,28 кал/г.Висновки. Рослинна сировина генотипів Silphium L. spp. є цінним джерелом поживних речовин. Уміст золи, її компоненти, енергетична цінність та параметри продуктивності залежить від генотипу та періоду росту й розвитку рослин. Результати досліджень дають змогу рекомендувати деякі генотипи Silphium як перспективні енергетичні культури в Україні, а також інших країнах.

Investigation of nutrients content showed that content of dry matter was in the range of 18.90–29.3%, protein – in the range of 8.88–23.56%, cellulose – 15.10–36.14%, ash – 8.13–12.19%, lipids – 1.83–3.97%; yield of above-ground mass – 45.0–139.0 t/ha, the yield of dry matter – 10.31–36.92 t/ha, energy value – 3933–4249 cal/g, and yield of energy – 43.81–149.27 Gcal/ha. A study of genotypes at the flowering and end of vegetation identified that the content of dry matter for all samples was in a range of 18.38–67.49%, sugars – 2.78–19.0%, ash – 3.93–11.20%, calcium – 1.68–5.99%, phosphorus – 0.14–1.21%, energy value – 3153.36– 3770.28 cal/g. Conclusions. Plant raw material of genotypes of Silphium L. spp. is a valuable source of nutrients. The content of ash, its components, energetic value, and parameters of productivity depending on genotype and stage of growth. The results allow recommending selected Silphium genotypes as perspective energetic crops in Ukraine as well as other countries.

Create a new source material of soybeans without pubescence, determine its selection value for the efficient use of processed products in animal nutrition, which will ensure high productivity of the latter. Quantitative and qualitative indicators of seeds are important economic and valuable features. The lack of pubescence on plants is unique.Methods. The minimum fat content of 20.88% was observed in the seeds of the non-pubescent variety ‘Kobra’, 23.73% in the line No 305, and 25.02% in the line No 22. The varieties ‘Diamant’ and ‘Antratsyt’ had a high fat content – 24.08–25.83%. The protein content in the green mass of promising lines was very low – up to 16%. The fat content was in the range of 2.1–5.3% with the maximum value in the lines No 3 and No 7 – 4.67–5.26%. The protein content in ‘Anakonda’ seeds and No 1 and No 9 lines was 36–37%, in standard varieties – at the level of 29.5–35.63%. A comparison of new non-pubescent lines with standard varieties and the most productive varieties ‘Diamant’ and ‘Adamos’, which are included in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine and meet the requirements for efficient use in fodder production.Conclusions. Lack of pubescence in soybean plants is an extremely rare and atypical phenomenon. There are no such varieties in the state register of plant varieties of Ukraine. More than 50 non-pubescent lines exceed the indicators of economic suitability of national standards and modern varieties. Lines No 4, No 5, No 7, No 8, which had more than 15% protein in the green mass, should be involved in the selection process to create fodder varieties. The ‘Anakonda’ line has a nutritional value with a minimum content of linolenic acid in the oil (6.08%). Increased oleic acid content was observed in varieties ‘Adamos’ (35.01%), ‘Diamant’ (33.53%), ‘Ametyst’ (31.39%). | Мета. Створити новий вихідний матеріал сої без опушення, визначити його селекційну цінність для ефективного використання продуктів переробки в годівлі тварин, що забезпечить отримання високої продуктивності останніх. Мінімальний уміст жиру в насінні – 20,88% відзначено в неопушеного сорту ‘Кобра’, у ліній № 305 та № 22 – 23,73 і 25,02% відповідно. Високим умістом жиру характеризувалися сорти ‘Алмаз’ і ‘Антрацит’ – 24,08 і 25,83%. Уміст білка в зеленій масі перспективних ліній був дуже низьким – до 16%. Уміст жиру був у межах від 2,1 до 5,3% з максимальними значеннями в ліній № 3 і № 7 – 4,67 і 5,26% відповідно. Уміст білка в насінні ‘Анаконда’ та ліній № 1 і № 9 був на рівні 36–37%, у сортів-стандартів – 29,57–35,63%. Порівняно нові лінії без опушення із сортами-стандартами та найурожайнішими сортами ‘Алмаз’ і ‘Адамос’, які занесені до Державного реєстру сортів рослин України та відповідають вимогам ефективного використання в кормовиробництві.Висновки. Відсутність опушення в рослин сої – надзвичайно рідкісне й нетипове явище. У Держреєстрі такі сорти відсутні. Понад 50 неопушених ліній культури перевищують показники господарської придатності національних стандартів і сучасних сортів. У процесі створення нових сортів з підвищеним умістом жиру в насінні доцільно використовувати неопушені лінії № 305 (23,73%) і № 22 (25,02%). Для створення кормових сортів у селекційний процес слід залучати лінії № 4, № 5, № 7, № 8, які мали в зеленій масі понад 15% протеїну. Високою харчовою цінністю характеризується лінія ‘Анаконда’ з мінімальним умістом в олії ліноленової кислоти (6,08%). Purpose. Development of scientific and applied foundations for the introduction, selection and use of plants of the species of the genus Physalis L. to ensure food security in Ukraine. Methods. Subject of study – plants of the genus Physalis. The study was conducted in 2014–2018. on the introduction plots of the department of cultural flora of the M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden, NAS of Ukraine (NBG). The work used general scientific and special methods: field, introduction, biological and morphological; laboratory (chemical, biochemical), statistical (methods of analysis of variance and statistical estimation of average data using Microsoft Excel (2010). Results. The features of ontomorphogenesis were established, the biological and morphological parameters of plants of the species of the genus Physalis L. were investigated under conditions of introduction in the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe Ukraine. It was found that the content of dry matter in plant fruits varied from 10 to 18.34%, sugars – from 39.34 to 67.97%, tannins – 1.57 to 3.35% and carotene – from 0.200 to 0.583%, ascorbic acid – from 123.91 to 284.95 mg/100 g, depending on the species, varietal and shape characteristics. Conclusions. It was found that the introduced plant species of the genus Physalis in conditions of culture have four age periods and 10 developmental states: seeds (se), sprouts (p), juvenile (j), immature (im), virginal (v), generative (g), subsenilny (ss) and senile (se). Ph. ixocarpa ‘Likhtaryk’ of the NBG selection was distinguished among the studied introduced species in terms of biological and morphological parameters and biochemical composition. The obtained data can be used for further research and determining the prospects for the introduction of these introduced species into a wide culture
