Impact of rates of sawing of seed and fertilization on seed productivity of Kameniar and Irma Long Fiber Flax in the conditions of Ukrainian Woodlands are highlighted. Определена кривая зависимости урожайных показателей от норм высева семян и удобрений. | Висвітлено вплив норм висіву насіння та удобрення на насінну продуктивність сортів льону-довгунцю Каменяр та Ірма в умовах центральних районів Полісся України. Встановлено достовірну частку впливу факторів на формування урожайності насіння льону-довгунцю.

The article highlights an influence of different seed rates upon the seed spring wheat variety yield and propagation coefficient. The economic efficiency of the decrease of seed rates in seed-breeding plots is substantiated.

The chemical composition and the links between different groups of substances (content of dry substances, monosaccharides, saccharose, sum of sugars, titratable acids, proanthocyanidins, anthocyanidins, water soluble pectine, protopectin, sum of pectines and sugar-acid index) have been studied in hybrids fruits of Persica vulgaris Mill, subsp. erytrocarpa Zajats and Persica vulgaris Mill, subsp. atropurpurea (Schneid.) Zajats. The obtained data were compared with the characteristics typical for fruits of P. vulgaris Mill, subsp. nectarina (Ait.) Shof. and P. vulgaris Mill. Brief information about the biology of obtained distant hybrids forms have been given. The content of anthocyanine pigments (Cy-3-Glu, Cy-3- Ara, Cy-3-(6-Kum)- Glu) in fruits and leaves of different taxons for genus Persica Mill, has been analysed.

Zajats. Полученные данные сравниваются с известными характеристиками, типичными для плодов сортов P. vulgaris Mill, subsp. nectarina (Ait.) Shof. и P. vulgaris Mill. Приведена помологическая характеристика контрольного сорта нектарина и трех гибридных форм. Проанализировано содержание антоциановых пигментов (Cyплодів і листя. // 3-Glu, Cy-3-Ara, Cy-3-(6-Kum)-Glu) в плодах и листьях различных таксонов рода Persica Mill. | Вивчено хімічний склад і взаємозв’язок між окремими групами речовин (вмістом сухих речовин, моносахаридів, сахарози, суми сахарів, титрованих кислот, проантоціанідинів, водорозчинного пектину, протопектину, суми пектинів і цукрово-кислотним індексом) у плодахгібридів subsp. erytrocarpa Zajats и Persica vulgaris Mill, subsp. atropurpurea (Schneid.) Zajats. Отримано дані порівняно з відомими характеристиками, типовими для плодів сортів P. vulgaris Mill, subsp. nectarina (Ait.) Shof. і P. vulgaris Mill. Наведено помологічну характеристику контрольного сорту нектарина та трьох гібридних форм. Проаналізовано вміст антоціа- нових пігментів (Cy-3-Glu, Cy-3-Ara, Су-3- (6-Kum)- G!u) у плодах і листках різних таксонів роду Persica Mill.

Development and improvement of a female component of MS hybrids of sugar beet were carried out on the basis of the following methods: inereasing frequency of occurrence of sterility maintainers by means of preliminary saturation of the population with alleles of the x and z genes; the use, as a female form, of simple sterile hybrids from the crossing of sterile lines with unrelated O-types; and also the drawing in of complexes of valuable genes from materials of foreign origin.

It is explained the essence of the formation of seed production of lettuce Lactuca sativa var. secalina L. depending on the form of the inflorescence habitus, which formed during the different areas of plant nutrition. It is substantiated the mechanism of seed formation on different parts of the inflorescence of female plant with identification of it’s sowing quality. It is developed the agrotehnologcal measures aimed at improving the productivity of lettuce seed by overcoming its matrical heteroquality
