Purpose. To analyse the practice of transliteration of the Ukrainian cultivar names and rendering foreign names by means of the Ukrainian language, as well as special aspects of cultivar names spelling in special literature. Results. Cultivar names as a special category require preservation of primary graphics or sound type in the other language. This can be achieved by direct inclusion of the original name to the Ukrainian text or by practical transcribing, but not by transliteration or translation. Otherwise, Ukrainian names should be transliterated for inclusion to the texts in Latin characters. Transcription/transliteration in both directions is performed from the source language, though, as practice shows, in some Ukrainian publications the Russian is wrongly used as an intermediary language. Some national scientific publications ignore the recommendations of the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants that is not conducive to the success of scientific communication in the globalized world. Conclusions. The foreign names of plant varieties should be entered into the Ukrainian text keeping the original spelling or by means of practical transcription. The loan of foreign names is performed by transcribing directly from the source language; if the language doesn’t have the Latin alphabet, Latinized name transcription is acceptable. Recommendations of the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants that concern graphic highlighting of the cultivar names in the text enclosing them in single quotation marks and writing each word of a cultivar name with a capital letter should necessarily be applied in the foreign-language publications and extended to the Ukrainian special literature, at least, in terms of the use of single quotation marks. Ukrainian names should be transliterated only in accordance with the regulations. | Цель. Анализ практики транслитерации украинских названий сортов растений и передачи иноязычных наз­ваний средствами украинского языка, а также особенностей написания сортовых названий в специальной литературе. Результаты. Сортовые названия, как особая категория, требуют сохранения своего первичного графического или звукового вида в другом языке. Этого можно достичь непосредственным включением оригинального названия в украинский текст или практическим транскрибированием, но не транслитерацией или переводом. В противном случае, для включения в тексты на латинице украинские названия транслитерируют. Транскрибирование/транслитерацию в обоих направлениях осуществляют с языка-источника, хотя, как свидетельствует практика, в некоторых украинских изданиях необоснованно применяют русский в качестве языка-посредника. Анализ отечественных научных изданий свидетельствует об игнорировании некоторыми из них рекомендаций Международного кодекса номенклатуры культурных растений, что не способствует успешному научному общению в условиях мировой глобализации. Выводы. Иностранные названия сортов растений нужно вводить в украинский текст, сохраняя оригинальное написание или с помощью практической транскрипции. Заимствование иностранных названий осуществляют транскрибированием непосредственно с языка-источника; если языки не имеют латинского алфавита, допустимо транскрибирование латинизированного названия. Рекомендации Международного кодекса номенклатуры для культурных растений относительно графического выделения в тексте сортовых названий с помощью одиночных кавычек и написание всех слов сортового названия с прописной буквы необходимо применять в иностранных публикациях и следует распространить, по крайней мере, относительно применения одиночных кавычек, в украиноязычной специальной литературе. Украинские названия транслитерируют в соответствии с действующими нормативами. | Мета. Аналіз практики транслітерування українських назв сортів рослин та передавання іншомовних назв засобами української мови, а також особливостей написання сортових назв у фаховій літературі. Результати. Сортові назви, як особлива категорія, потребують збереження свого первісного графічного або звукового вигляду в іншій мові. Цього можна досягти безпосереднім включенням оригінальної назви до українського тексту або практичним транскрибуванням, але не транслітеруванням, або перекладом. У іншому випадку, для включення до текстів на латиниці українські назви транслітерують. Транскрибування/транслітерування в обох напрямах здійснюють з мови-джерела, хоч, як свідчить практика, в деяких українських виданнях безпідставно послуговуються російською як мовою-посередником. Аналіз вітчизняних наукових видань свідчить про ігнорування деякими з них рекомендацій Міжнародного кодексу номенклатури культурних рослин, що не сприяє успішному науковому спілкуванню в умовах світової глобалізації. Висновки. Іншомовні назви сортів рослин треба вводити до українського тексту, зберігаючи оригінальне написання або за допомогою практичної транскрипції. Запозичення іншомовних назв здійснюють транскрибуванням безпосередньо з мови-джерела; якщо мови не мають латинської абетки, допустимим є транскрибування латинізованої назви. Рекомендації Міжнародного кодексу номенклатури для культурних рослин щодо графічного виділення в тексті сортових назв за допомогою одинарних лапок та написання всіх слів сортової назви з великої літери потрібно застосовувати в іншомовних публікаціях та варто поширити, принаймні, щодо застосування одинарних лапок, в україномовній спеціальній літературі. Purpose. To study the influence of fractional composition of seed material on productive properties of spring rape seeds of the ‘Magnat’ variety and ‘MVM’ (‘Gladiator’) variety sample. Methods. Field investigations, laboratory tests, statistical analysis. Results. During 2013–2014, the influence of sown seeds of different size fractions (up to 2,5 g; 2,6–3,5 g; 3,6 g and more) on the indices of productivity of spring rape varie­ties was studied. It was found that over the years of study field germination of sown fractions of seeds in ‘Magnat’ variety averaged 83.5%, in ‘MSM’ variety sample – 86.7%. During the periods of seedling emergence and harvesting, the density of spring rape crops varied depending on relevant fraction of sown seeds. In the ‘Magnat’ variety, photosynthetic potential of crops ranged from 1.1 to 1.3 million m2/ha, in ‘MSM’ variety sample – from 1.2 to 1.6 million m2/ha. Depending on the seed fractions applied, ‘Magnat’ variety crops during the gro­wing season accumulated organic biomass from 2.05 to 2.36 g/m2 per day, ‘MSM’ sample variety – from 1.83 to 2.10 g/m2 per day. Conclusions. It was established that different fractions of spring rape seeds sown in the Northern Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine affected the indices of germinating energy and laboratory germination, crop density formation, leaf surface area and intensity of photosynthesis process (crop photosynthetic potential, net photosynthesis performance). The highest indices of productivity and yield in the ‘Magnat’ variety was ensured by large-seeded fraction (3,6 g and more), in the ‘MVM’ (‘Gladia­tor’) sample variety – by small-seeded fraction (up to 2,5 g).

В периоды появления всходов и уборки рапса ярового плотность посевов различается в зависимости от сева семян соответствующей фракции. У сорта ‘Магнат’ фотосинтетический потенциал посева варьировал от 1,1 до 1,3 млн м2/га, у сортообразца ‘МВМ’ – от 1,2 до 1,6 млн м2/га. В зависимости от применяемых фракций семян посевы сорта ‘Магнат’ за вегетацию накапливали органичес­кую биомассу от 2,05 до 2,36 г/м2 в сутки, у сортообразца ‘МВМ’ – от 1,83 до 2,10 г/м2 в сутки. Выводы. Установлено, что в условиях северной Лесостепи Украины сев различных фракций рапса ярового влияет на показатели энергии прорастания и лабораторной всхожести, формирование густоты стояния, площади листовой поверхности и интенсивность процесса фотосинтеза (фотосинтетический потенциал посевов, чистая продуктивность фотосинтеза). Самые высокие показатели продуктивности и уровня урожая у сорта ‘Магнат’ обеспечивал сев семян фракции 3,6 г и более, у сортообразца ‘МВМ’ (‘Гладиатор’) – сев семян фракции до 2,5 г. | Мета. Вивчення впливу фракційного складу посівного матеріалуна врожайні властивості насіння ріпаку ярого сорту ‘Магнат’ та сортозразка ‘МВМ’ (‘Гладіатор’). Методи. Протягом 2013–2014 рр. досліджено вплив сівби різних фракцій насіння (до 2,5 г; 2,6–3,5 г; 3,6 г і більше) на показники продуктивності сортів ріпаку ярого. Виявлено, що за роки досліджень польова схожість висіяних фракцій насіння в середньому в сорту ‘Магнат’ становила 83,5%, у сортозразка ‘МВМ’ – 86,7%. У періоди появи сходів та збирання ріпаку ярого щільність посівів відрізняється залежно від сівби насіння відповідної фракції. У сорту ‘Магнат’ фотосинтетичний потенціал посіву варіював від 1,1 до 1,3 млн м2/га, у сортозразка ‘МВМ’ – від 1,2 до 1,6 млн м2/га. Залежно від застосованих фракцій насіння посіви сорту ‘Магнат’ за вегетацію накопичували органічну біомасу від 2,05 до 2,36 г/м2 за добу, сорто­зразка ‘МВМ’ – від 1,83 до 2,10 г/м2 за добу. Висновки. Встановлено, що в умовах північного Лісостепу України сівба різних фракцій посівного матеріалу ріпаку ярого впливає на показники енергії проростання та лабораторної схожості, формування густоти стояння, площі листкової поверхні та інтенсивність процесу фотосинтезу (фотосинтетичний потенціал посівів, чиста продуктивність фотосинтезу). Найвищі показники продуктивності та рівня врожаю у сорту ‘Магнат’ забезпечувала сівба насіння фракції 3,6 г і більше, у сортозразка ‘МВМ’ (‘Гладіатор’) – сівба насіння фракції до 2,5 г.

Purpose. Studying and identifying winter wheat varieties that are resistant to causal agents of major diseases and pests. Methods. Laboratory analysis, field study. Results. On artificial infection backgrounds of causal agents such varieties as ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’ have shown high level of resistance to brown rust; ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’ – to powdery mildew; ‘Smuhlianka’ – to covered smut. Varieties ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’, ‘Lehenda Myronivska’ had medium resistance to Septoria leaf blotch; ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’, ‘Myronivska storichna’ – to Fusarium head blight; ‘Myronіvska 65’, ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Lehenda Myronivska’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’ – to root rots. Among the varieties studied, there were those with group resistance to diseases: ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Bohdana’, ‘Myronivska storichna’, ‘Ekonomka’, ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’, ‘Smuhlianka’. Varieties bred at the V. M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat are distinguished by pest resistance. During autumn tillering phase of winter wheat the smallest number of large cereal aphids was observed in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’ and ‘Myronivska storichna’, leafhoppers – in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’. The slight population of thrips in the phase of earing was marked in the variety ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’, in the milk-ripe stage the smallest number of larvae per ear was detected in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’. Varieties ‘Lehenda Myronivska’ and ‘Smuhlianka’ were proved to be resistant to damages of stems by sawflies. It should be noted that ‘Smuhlianka’ variety shows resistance to aphids, leafhoppers and grain sawflies. Conclusions. It was established that winter wheat varieties bred at the V. M. Remeslo Myronivka Instutite of Wheat are characterized by resistance to certain causal agents, some of them – to their group. Varieties that are resistant to the most common and harmful phytophages were identified.

Среднюю устойчивость к септориозу листьев имеют сорта ‘Волошкова’, ‘Ювиляр Мироновский’, ‘Мирлена’, ‘Обериг Мироновский’, ‘Колос Миронивщины’, ‘Легенда Мироновская’; к фузариозу колоса – ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Мирлена’, ‘Обериг Мироновский’, ‘Берегиня мироновская’, ‘Горлица мироновская’, ‘Мироновская сторична’; к корневым гнилям – ‘Мироновская 65’, ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Легенда Мироновская’, ‘Берегиня мироновская’. Среди исследуемых сор­тов выделены и с групповой устойчивостью к болезням: ‘Волошкова’, ‘Мирлена’, ‘Ювиляр Мироновский’, ‘Обериг Мироновский’, ‘Богдана’, ‘Мироновская сторична’, ‘Экономка’, ‘Свитанок Мироновский’, ‘Берегиня мироновская’, ‘Горлица мироновская’, ‘Смуглянка’. Мироновские сорта характеризируются также устойчивостью к вредителям. В фазе осеннего кущения озимой пшеницы численность большой злаковой тли была минимальной на сортах ‘Смуглянка’ и ‘Мироновская сторична’, цикадок – на сортах ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Мирлена’, ‘Ювиляр Мироновский’; заселение трипсами в фазе колошения – на сорте ‘Колос Миронивщины’, в фазе молочной спелости количество личинок в колосе – на сортах ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Волошкова’, ‘Колос Миронивщины’. Наименьшее количество поврежденных пилильщиками стеблей обнаружено на сортах ‘Легенда Мироновская’ и ‘Смуглянка’. Следует отметить, что сорт ‘Смуглянка’ проявляет устойчивость к тлям, цикадкам и хлебному пилильщику. Выводы. Установлено, что сорта пшеницы озимой, созданные в Мироновском институте пшеницы имени В. М. Ремесло, отличаются устойчивостью к некоторым возбудителям болезней, часть их них имеют групповую устойчивость к болезням. Выделены сорта с устойчивостью к наиболее распространенным и вредоносным фитофагам. | Мета. Вивчення та виділення сортів пшениці озимої, стійких проти збудників основних хвороб та шкідників культури. Методи. Лабораторний, польовий. Результати. На штучних інфекційних фонах збудників хвороб високу стійкість проти бурої іржі проявили сорти ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Світанок Миронівський’, ‘Берегиня миронівська’, ‘Горлиця миронівська’; проти борошнистої роси – ‘Світанок Миронівський’, ‘Берегиня миронівська’; проти твердої сажки – ‘Смуглянка’. Середню стійкість проти септоріозу листя мають сорти ‘Волошкова’, ‘Ювіляр Миронівський’, ‘Мирлєна’, ‘Оберіг Миронівський’, ‘Колос Миронівщини’, ‘Легенда Миронівська’; проти фузаріозу колосу – ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Мирлєна’, ‘Оберіг Миронівський’, ‘Берегиня миронівська’, ‘Горлиця миронівська’, ‘Миронівська сторічна’; проти кореневих гнилей – ‘Миронівська 65’, ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Легенда Миронівська’, ‘Берегиня миронівська’. Серед досліджуваних сортів виявлено й такі, що мають групову стійкість проти хвороб: ‘Волошкова’, ‘Мирлєна’, ‘Ювіляр Миронівський’, ‘Оберіг Миронівський’, ‘Богдана’, ‘Миронівська сторічна’, ‘Економка’, ‘Світанок Миронівський’, ‘Берегиня миронівська’, ‘Горлиця миронівська’, ‘Смуглянка’. Миронівські сорти характеризуються стійкістю проти шкідників. У фазі осіннього кущіння пшениці озимої чисельність великої злакової попелиці була найменшою на сортах ‘Смуглянка’ й ‘Миронівська сторічна’, цикадок – на сортах ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Мирлєна’, ‘Ювіляр Миронівський’; заселення трипсами у фазі колосіння – на сорті ‘Колос Миронівщини’, у фазі молочної стиглості найменшу кількість личинок у колосі – на сортах ‘Смуглянка’, ‘Волошкова’, ‘Колос Миронівщини’. Найменшу кількість пошкоджених пильщиками стебел виявлено на сортах ‘Легенда Миронівська’ та ‘Смуглянка’. Варто зазначити, що сорт ‘Смуглянка’ проявляє стійкість проти попелиць, цикадок і хлібного пильщика. Висновки. Встановлено, що сорти пшениці озимої, створені в Миронівському інституті пшениці імені В. М. Ремесла, вирізняються стійкістю проти деяких збудників хвороб, частина з них має групову стійкість проти хвороб. Виділено сорти зі стійкістю проти найпоширеніших і шкідливих фітофагів.

Purpose. Studying and identifying winter wheat varieties that are resistant to causal agents of major diseases and pests. Methods. Laboratory analysis, field study. Results. On artificial infection backgrounds of causal agents such varieties as ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’ have shown high level of resistance to brown rust; ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’ – to powdery mildew; ‘Smuhlianka’ – to covered smut. Varieties ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’, ‘Lehenda Myronivska’ had medium resistance to Septoria leaf blotch; ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’, ‘Myronivska storichna’ – to Fusarium head blight; ‘Myronіvska 65’, ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Lehenda Myronivska’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’ – to root rots. Among the varieties studied, there were those with group resistance to diseases: ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’, ‘Oberih Myronivskyi’, ‘Bohdana’, ‘Myronivska storichna’, ‘Ekonomka’, ‘Svitanok Myronivskyi’, ‘Berehynia Myronіvska’, ‘Horlytsia Myronіvska’, ‘Smuhlianka’. Varieties bred at the V. M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat are distinguished by pest resistance. During autumn tillering phase of winter wheat the smallest number of large cereal aphids was observed in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’ and ‘Myronivska storichna’, leafhoppers – in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Myrliena’, ‘Yuviliar Myronivskyi’. The slight population of thrips in the phase of earing was marked in the variety ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’, in the milk-ripe stage the smallest number of larvae per ear was detected in varieties ‘Smuhlianka’, ‘Voloshkova’, ‘Kolos Myronivschyny’. Varieties ‘Lehenda Myronivska’ and ‘Smuhlianka’ were proved to be resistant to damages of stems by sawflies. It should be noted that ‘Smuhlianka’ variety shows resistance to aphids, leafhoppers and grain sawflies. Conclusions. It was established that winter wheat varieties bred at the V. M. Remeslo Myronivka Instutite of Wheat are characterized by resistance to certain causal agents, some of them – to their group. Varieties that are resistant to the most common and harmful phytophages were identified.

Field investigations, laboratory analysis, analytical approach, selection method. Results. Flow chart of selection process with representatives of Salicaceae family included the following stages: the Ist stage – creation of primary families (F0); the IInd stage – creation of the second families, or branches; the 222rd stage – interfamily (individually-familial) selection; IVth stage – familial-group selection; the Vth stage – clonal selection (selection of ramets). Conclusions. Breeding process with the use of complex of advanced methods of selection (individual, familial, group and clonal ones) allows to get model populations with high-frequency of valuable alleles and genotypes and with the high level of genetic variety. Due to a negative multi-stage individual intrafamilial and interfamily selection, cleaning of artificial populations from undesirable forms takes place without the substantial decrease of genetic variety level.

Разработать алгоритм создания новых высокопродуктивных сортов-клонов представителей семейства Salicaceae с улучшенными хозяйственно-ценными признаками для их использования при создании энергетических плантаций.Методы. Полевой, лабораторный, аналитический, селекционный.Результаты. Схема организации селекционного процесса с представителями семейства Ивовых вклюсала следующие этапы: I этап - создание первичных семей (F0); II этап - создание вторичных семей или ответвлений; III этап - межсемейный (индивидуально-семейный) отбор; IV этап - семейно-групповой отбор; V этап - клоновый отбор (отбор рамет).Выводы. Селекционный процесс с применением комплекса прогрессивных методов отбора (индивидуального, семейного, группового и клонового) позволяет получать модельные популяции с высокой частостой ценных аллелей и генотипов с высоким уровнем генетического многообразия. За счет негативного многоступенчатого индивидуального внутрисемейного и межсемейного отбора происходит очистка искусственных популяций от нежелательных форм без существенного снижения уровня генетического многообразия. | Мета. Розробити алгоритм створення нових високопродуктивних сортів-клонів представників родини Salicaceae з поліпшеними господарсько-цінними ознаками для їх використання під час створення енергетичних плантацій.Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, аналітичний, селекційний.Результати. Схема організації селекційного процесу з представникам родини Вербові включала такі етапи: I етап - створення первинних родин  (F0); II етап - створення вторинних родин або відгалужень; III етап - міжнародний (індивідуально-родинний) добір; IV етап - родинно-груповий добір; V етап - клонований добір (добір рамет).Висновки. Селекційний процес із застосуванням комплексу прогресивних методів добору (індивідуального, родинного, групового і клонового) дає можливість отримувати модельні популяції з високою частотою цінних алелів і генотипів та високим рівнем генетичного різноманіття. За рахунок багатоступінчатого індивідуального внутрішньородинного й міжродинного добору відбувається очищення штучних популяцій від небажаних форм без істотного зниження рівня генетичного різноманіття.

Purpose. To analyse biochemical and economic characters of new tomato varieties adapted to the conditions of the south of Ukraine. Methods. Field study, laboratory testing, statistical analysis. Results. Intraspecific hybridization method followed by individual selection was used to create such new tomato varieties as ‘Naddnіprianskyi 1’, ‘Inguletskyi’, ‘Kimmeriiets’, ‘Sarmat’, ‘Taim’, ‘Legin’, ‘Kumach’ adapted to the conditions of the south, which are characterized by high yielding (69,2–78,0 t/ha), fruit quality (content of soluble dry matter 5,65–5,92%), drought (7,2–8,1 points) and heat (70,4–88,2%) resistance. All varieties are of intensive type, they require advanced agricultural technology, irrigation. Conclusions. New tomato varieties, namely ‘Naddnіprianskyi 1’, ‘Inguletskyi’, ‘Kimmeriiets’, ‘Sarmat’, ‘Taim’, ‘Legin’, ‘Kumach’ were entered in the State register of plant varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine. They are recommended for outdoor growing in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine.

Все сорта – интенсивного типа, требуют высокого уровня агротехники, орошения. Выводы. Новые сорта помидора ‘Надднепрянский 1’, ‘Ингулецкий’, ‘Киммериец’, ‘Сармат’, ‘Тайм’, ‘Легинь’, ‘Кумач’ занесены в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных к распространению в Украине. Рекомендуются для выращивания в открытом грунте в зонах Степи и Лесостепи Украины. | Мета. Проаналізувати біохімічні та господарсько-цінні ознаки нових сортів помідора, адаптованих до умов півдня України. Методи. Польовий, лабораторний, статистичний аналіз. Результати. Методом внутрішньовидової гібридизації з подальшим індивідуальним добором створено нові сорти помідора ‘Наддніпрянський 1’, ‘Інгулецький’, ‘Кіммерієць’, ‘Сармат’, ‘Тайм’, ‘Легінь’, ‘Кумач’, адаптовані до умов півдня, які характеризуються високою врожайністю (69,2–78,0 т/га), якістю плодів (вміст сухої розчинної речовини – 5,60–5,92%), посухостійкістю (7,2–8,1 бала) та жаростійкістю (70,4–88,2%). Усі сорти – інтенсивного типу, потребують високого рівня агротехніки, зрошення. Висновки. Нові сорти помідора ‘Наддніпрянський 1’, ‘Інгулецький’, ‘Кіммерієць’, ‘Сармат’, ‘Тайм’, ‘Легінь’, ‘Кумач’ занесено до Державного реєстру сортів рослин, придатних для поширення в Україні. Рекомендовані для вирощування у відкритому ґрунті в зонах Степу й Лісостепу України.

Мета. Вивчення параметрів водного режиму сортів яблуні, вирощених на карликовій підщепі 62-396 і вставках 62-396 і 3-17-38, протягом вегетаційного періоду у зв’язку з їхньою жаростійкістю. Методи. Польовий, статистичний, аналітичний. Результати. Встановлено високий рівень обводненості листя сортів яблуні від 71,5 до 73,1% на початку вегетації. Середній рівень обводненості листя у досліджуваних сорто-підщепних комбінацій яблуні від 62,8 до 65,5% зафіксовано в період інтенсивного росту пагонів, формування зав’язі й плодів (червень–серпень). Істотної різниці між сортами за обводненістю листя не встановлено. Дисперсійний аналіз виявив істотну достовірну відмінність за обводненістю листя між карликовою підщепою і встав­ками за р < 0,05. Встановлено, що в середньому за два роки сорт ‘Яблочный Спас’ після теплового шоку втрачав води менше, ніж ‘Орлинка’. При цьому у сортів виявили найбільшу водоутримувальну здатність на карликовій підщепі 62-396. Висновки. У процесі дисперсійного ана­лізу зафіксовано міжсортові відмінності за втратою води на 5% і 1% рівнях значущості. Достовірно доведено взаємовплив між сортами, карликовою підщепою і встав­ками за втратою води після теплового шоку при р < 0,05 і 0,01. Після впливу високотемпературного стресу (+50 °С) і насичення водою досліджувані сорто-підщепні комбінації яблуні були здатні відновлювати обводненість на високому рівні. З найбільшим потенціалом жаростійкості виділено сорто-підщепні комбінації ‘Яблочный Спас’ і ‘Орлинка’ на карликовій підщепі 62-396.

Purpose.To study the parameters of water regime in apple-tree varieties grown on dwarf rootstock 62-396 and inserts 62-396 and 3-17-38 during the vegetation period in relation to their heat tolerance. Methods.Field investigations, statistical evaluation, analytical approach.Results.A high level of water content ranging from 71.5 to 73.1% was determined in the leaves of apple-tree varieties at the beginning of vegetation.An average level of water content (from 62.8 to 65.5%) in leaves of studied apple-tree scion-rootstock combinations was recorded during the period of the intensive growth of shoots and formation of ovaries and fruits (June–August). There was no significant difference between varieties as for water content in leaves. Analysis of variance revealed the significant reliable difference as for water content in leaves between dwarf rootstock and inserts at p &lt; 0.05. It was determined that on average for the period of two years ‘Yablochny Spas’ variety lost less water than ‘Orlinka’ after the heat shock. At the same time, the maximum water-holding ability was revealed in the varieties on the dwarf rootstock 62-396. Conclusions. During analysis of variance, the substantial reliable intervarietal differences were recorded for the water content at 5% and 1%-level of significance.The mutual influence between varieties, dwarf rootstock and inserts for water loss after the heat shock at p &lt; 0.05 and 0.01 was reliably confirmed. After the impact of high temperature stress (+50 °C) and water saturation, the studied apple-tree scion-rootstock combinations were able to restore water content at a high level. Scion-rootstock combinations ‘Yablochny Spas’ and ‘Orlinka’ on the dwarf rootstock 62-396 were specified as those that had the highest heat tolerance potential. | Цель. Изучение параметров водного режима сортов яблони, выращенных на карликовом подвое 62-396 и вставках 62-396 и 3-17-38, в течение вегетационного периода в связи с их жаростойкостью. Методы. Полевой, статистический, аналитический. Результаты. Установлен высокий уровень оводнённости листьев сортов яблони от 71,5 до 73,1% в начале вегетации. Средний уровень оводнённости листьев у изучаемых сорто-подвойных комбинаций яблони от 62,8 до 65,5% отметили в период интенсивного роста побегов, формирования завязи и плодов (июнь–август). Существенного различия между сортами по оводнённости листьев не обнаружено. Дисперсионный анализ выявил существенное достоверное различие по оводнённости листьев между карликовым подвоем и вставками при р &lt; 0,05. Установлено, что в среднем за два года сорт ‘Яблочный Спас’ после теплового шока терял меньше воды, чем ‘Орлинка’. При этом у сортов водоудерживающая способность на карликовом подвое 62-396оказалась наибольшей. В процессе дисперсионного анализабыли зафиксированы достоверные межсортовые различия по потере воды на 5% и 1% уровнях значимости. Выводы. Достоверно доказано взаимовлияние между сортами, карликовым подвоем и вставками по потере воды после теплового шока при р &lt; 0,05 и 0,01. После воздействия высокотемпературного стресса (+50 °С) и насыщения водой исследуемые сорто-подвойные комбинации яблони были способны восстанавливать оводнённость на высоком уровне. С наибольшим потенциалом жаростойкости выделены сорто-подвойные комбинации ‘Яблочный Спас’ и ‘Орлинка’ на карликовом подвое 62-396. | Мета. Встановлено, що в середньому за два роки сорт ‘Яблочный Спас’ після теплового шоку втрачав води менше, ніж ‘Орлинка’. При цьому у сортів виявили найбільшу водоутримувальну здатність на карликовій підщепі 62-396. Висновки. У процесі дисперсійного ана­лізу зафіксовано міжсортові відмінності за втратою води на 5% і 1% рівнях значущості. Достовірно доведено взаємовплив між сортами, карликовою підщепою і встав­ками за втратою води після теплового шоку при р &lt; 0,05 і 0,01. Після впливу високотемпературного стресу (+50 °С) і насичення водою досліджувані сорто-підщепні комбінації яблуні були здатні відновлювати обводненість на високому рівні. З найбільшим потенціалом жаростійкості виділено сорто-підщепні комбінації ‘Яблочный Спас’ і ‘Орлинка’ на карликовій підщепі 62-396.

Purpose. Defining marker-trait associations of microsatellite markers with specific regions of the genome that control important agronomical traits in the investigated varieties originated in the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute – National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigations and entered into the State register of plant varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine during different years. Methods. Molecular genetic methods (extraction of genomic DNA, polymerase chain reactions (PCR), electrophoresis of amplification products in polyacrylamide gel), field methods (phenological observations of heading date and analysis of plant height, visual assessment of the colour and length of wheat ear and awns), statistical methods (evaluation of trait means by descriptive statistic instruments of EXCEL package, ANOVA method performed by GLM instrument from AGROBASE 21 package). Results. During four gro­wing years (2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14), 47 bread winter wheat varieties were phenotypically measured and analyzed with 17 microsatellite loci. 35 marker-trait associations (MTA) for heading date, 39 for plant height, 33 for awn size, 20 for ear colour and 8 for ear size were found to be stable and significant during two–four different gro­wing years. Conclusions. Microsatellite markers that showed substantial and stable during different growing years associations with agronomical traits can be useful and suitable for marker-assisted selection (MAS) in Ukrainian wheat breeding programs.

Методы. Молекулярно-генетические методы (выделение геномной ДНК, полимеразная цепная реакция (ПЦР), электрофорез продуктов амплификации в полиакриламидном геле), полевые методы (фенологические наблюдения даты колошения и анализ признаков «высота растений», «длина колоса» и «длина остей», визуальные – оценка признака «цвет колоса»), статистические методы (определение средних значений агрономических признаков с помощью описательной статистики с использованием программы Excel из пакета Microsoft Office, дисперсионный анализ выполнен процедурой GLM (генеральная линейная модель) из специализированного программного комплекса AGROBASE 21). Результаты. В течение четырех лет (2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14) 47 сортов пшеницы мягкой озимой были изучены по фенотипическим признакам и проанализированы с помощью 17 микросателлитных локусов. Выявлено 35 ассоциаций маркеров с датой колошения, 39 – с высотой растений, 33 – с размером остей, 20 – с цветом колоса и 8 – с размером колоса; ассоциации были стабильными и достоверными на протяжении 2–4 лет исследования. Выводы. Микросателитные маркеры, которые обнаружили значительные и стабильные в разные годы ассоциации с агрономическими признаками, могут быть полезными и пригодными для отбора с помощью маркеров (MAS) в рамках программ селекции пшеницы Украины. | Мета. Молекулярно-генетичні методи (виділення геномної ДНК, полімеразна ланцюгова реакція (ПЛР), електрофорез продуктів ампліфікації в поліакриламідному гелі), польові методи (фенологічні спостереження дати колосіння та аналіз ознак «висота рослин», «довжина колосу» та «довжина остюків», візуальні – оцінка ознаки «колір колосу»), статистичні методи (визначення середніх значень агрономічних ознак за допомогою описової статистики з використанням програми Excel із пакету MicrosoftOffice, дисперсійний аналіз виконано процедурою GLM (генеральна лінійна модель) зі спеціалізованого програмного комплексу AGROBASE 21). Результати. Протягом чотирьох років (2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14) 47 сортів пшениці м’якої озимої, були вивчені за фенотиповими ознаками та проаналізовані за 17 мікросателітними локусами. Виявлено 35 асоціацій маркерів з датою колосіння, 39 – з висотою рослин, 33 – з розміром остей, 20 – з кольором колосу і 8 – з розміром колосу; асоціації були стабільними та достовірними протягом 2–4 років дослідження. Висновки. Мікросателітні маркери, які виявили значні та стабільні в різні роки асоціації з агрономічними ознаками, можуть бути корисними й придатними для добору за допомогою маркерів (MAS) у рамках програм селекції пшениці України.
