On the base of meteorological data in different places of the varieties and combined interspecific hybrids testing, on the base of pathogen properties of the place of testing, conclusion was made regarding expediency of the test on phyto-resistance for potato forms under Carpathian conditions.

Sugar beet hybrids are considered as a factor of intensification of the beet-sugar branch. At the modern stage of development of agriculture under condition of reduction of sugar beet sown area, shortage of material - technical resources which influence the formation of productivity of sugar beet as a crop of intensive type, hybrids must have a high genetically conditioned biological potential of productive ability, resistance to pests and diseases, abiotic stress factors, must have broad adaptive abilities. Analysis of the modern sugar beet hybrids included bately in the state Register of plant varieties of Ukraine is presented. Transfer of the branch to the intensive way of development is possible only under conditions of a complex approach to solving this problem.

Interrelation of plant height of winter wheat varieties with resistance to lodging and crops productivity has been investigated. It has been grounded expediency of corresponding agro-ecological conditions establishment, under which plant's height is formed within the limits of genetically caused optimum for each variety

The authors presents the results of the collectional, primary and promotional investigation of the myrobalan plum large-fruited introduced and "tome cultivars under the conditions of the Ukraine's Southern Polissya and Northern Lisosteppe. On the background of the best standard cv <ubans’ka kometa a number of promise cultivars with both red and yellow fruits has been singled out to be introduced in the farm orchards of differ- ant forms of property. These cultivars are characterized with different Opening terms and purpose of fruits use.

Modern state of DNA-markers introduction in world plant breeding practice was analyzed. Results of South plant biotechnology center research activity (Odessa), directed on DNA-technologies development for differentiation, identification and registration of important agricultural crops were given.

The use of regression analysis for estimation of inbred lines is a breeding - oriented method, as it indicates scientifically grounded stages of the further breeding studying of these lines and a strategy of their use. Admissible levels of inbred depression of agriculturally valuable characters are limited in lines of the Verkhnyachka and Lgov geneplasms by two - three generations of self - pollinations, which testifies to the necessity "to keep" the characters of sufficient basis. Linearity of changes of values of the characters with the advancing of inbreeding shows the absence of epistasis or the weakness of their effects which makes suitable the use of an additive-dominant model for determining breeding-genetical value of inbred lines with the aim of their purposeful hybridization for obtaining genetically determined heterosis in F1.

Lettuce varieties selection for open soil conveyer breeding has to be carrying out with taking into account sort, maturity grade, terms of sowing and consumers demand on the fresh green products.

Results of amino acids composition studying in savoya cabbage assortment are served. The best samples namely Vertyu 1340 (Rusiia) and hybrid Saha F1 (Netherlands) were selected.
