Nowadays, spatial spread balance in resources and utilities between cities is one of government aims. Utilities spreading balance is binded to their sites in order to all people can access them easily. On the other side, Land Surveying's main goal is regulating human activities in national environment to reach rational exploitation of resources and land capabilities. This goal could be accessed via GIS and its ability in various contexts. In this paper, we focused on spatial spread of Gas industry infrastructures, especially CNG stations in Qom province. First, we evaluated existing CNG cites. We designed special questionnaire containing questions about CNG station's quality, quantity, spatial and services. The forms were filled with drivers and we analyzed them. Also we used GIS to implement CNG cite standards and analyzed existing stations. Also we determined optimal places for CNG station using GIS. Our model includes AHP for weighting layers, a way that uses comparative methods for weighting, and Index Overlay for combining layers with AHP weights. Finally, we categorized Qom province in six categories ranging "Very Unsuitable Sites" to "Very Suitable Cites" for CNG station.

One of the policies that has been taken into account by many countries to develop sustainable tourism is the development of touristic towns and villages in a centralized manner and the prevention of haphazard, unplanned contractions that destroy environment, sociocultural context, and economic structure of the touristic attraction sites. This policy was enacted by the Iranian cabinet in 2017. The purpose of this study was to present a methodology to identify the spaces suitable for the development of touristic towns and villages. The study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of methodology. As the input of the analytic model, the spatial territory of Mazandaran province was divided into 23007 spatial units, each covering 100 hectares. Then, the development of touristic towns and villages were evaluated and prioritized. In this article, the combined index of “the priority of the development of touristic towns and villages in Mazandaran province” was made by combining exploratory factor analysis and network analysis (F’ANP) based on 14 factors effective on the development of touristic towns and villages. The resulting map was then trimmed based on four control indices. The findings of the model showed that the three factors of “environmental potential and transportation infrastructure,” “the quantity and quality of serving the tourists,” and “tourism investment potential” are effective on the prioritization of Mazandaran province spaces in order to develop touristic towns and villages. The results of study demonstrated that the development of touristic towns and villages in this province is possible in the middle and eastern side of seashore, in limited areas in the eastern plains, and in the eastern and western mountainous lands.

This study conducted to locate the landfill in the range of studies, in view of the most recent guidelines Environment Protection Organization of Iran as to the citation Article 12 of the law and article 23 executive bylaws Waste management In order to Reducing the damaging effects of environmental Activities, locations and Utilities Related with the Processing and disposal Ordinary wastes, Including all the places of burial and recycling Has been prepared. Using the screening regional method and GIS, the Legal-restricted areas as well as the fit regions for waste disposal at the regional scale reviewed and was specified. Then, fit regions in the local scale with regard the important parameters in this method and the weight of them have been Priorities. Three main natural conditions، land-use and economic factors was interference in this method. Then, based on the population growth rate and the amount of waste produced in a horizon of 20 years the area of land required for landfill in the Study area specified and Lands prone with an area of less than the amount determined is removed from the map of merit and was provision the final suitability maps include appropriate land-landfill by taking all the conditions and criteria of the environment protection organization of Iran was determined prone for landfill the 2770.7 hectares at regional scales and 2105.6 hectares of land at the local scale of the whole range of Studies.

2012
Kowkabi, Lila | Ghadiri Masum, Mojtaba
Industrialization and Urban sprawl together with population growth and increases in water consumption cause water pollution and destruction of natural resources quality; these are followed by reducing access to available resources such as drinking water. Every year a significant amount of urban waste water is discharged to water resources, while natural treatment is impossible. Cities in each level require different facilities and infrastructure. optimal resource utilization with appropriate site selection for water & wastewater facilities have an important role in water quality in the major cities and can control water pollution, so it has been considered to increase the quality of life in cities, also the neglect of attention to climate condition such as morphology, hydrology and topography cause negative impacts on urban environment. There are different models and methods to select suitable sites for facilities. They are specifically important in arid land where water resources have become increasingly scarce. One of the methods is zoning. In this paper satellite images have been used to locate facilities in a typical arid city in Iran, Shiraz. The large-scaled (landscape scale) land use maps has been prepared for Shiraz-Neiriz water basin, and the distinctive zones were determined base on arid and semi arid geo-hydro morphology. Then each zone were analyzed using large-scale land use, soil and topographic factors to determine adequate potential sites for facilities by regarding sustainable development and considering the cumulative effects of upstream area. At the end, some suggestions were determined to reduce urban environment pollution.
