Bu çalışma, rasyona farklı seviyelerde (%0, 5, 10 ve 20) aspir tohumu küspesi içeren rasyonlara 0 ve 1000 mg/kg seviyesinde enzim ilavesinin yumurtlayan Japon bıldırcınlarında performans, yumurta kalitesi ve serum parametrelerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada 8 haftalık yaşta 160 adet dişi Japon bıldırcını (Coturnix coturnix Japonica) kullanılmıştır. Farklı seviyelerde aspir tohumu küspesi içeren rasyonlara enzim ilavesinin oluşturduğu 8 muamele grubunda her birinde 4 adet Japon bıldırcının bulunduğu bıldırcın kafesinde 5 tekerrürlü olarak 84 gün süreyle yürütülmüştür. Yumurtlayan bıldırcınlarda farklı seviyelerde aspir tohumu küspesi içeren rasyonlara enzim ilavesinin deneme sonu canlı ağırlık, canlı ağırlık değişimi, yumurta verimi ve yem değerlendirme katsayısı üzerine etkisi önemsiz olmuştur. Yem tüketimi rasyona enzim ilavesinden etkilenmez iken, %20 seviyesinde aspir küspesi içeren grupta yem tüketimi %5 seviyesinde aspir küspesi içeren gruptan önemli seviyede yüksek, diğer gruplarla benzer olmuştur. Yumurta ağırlığı ve yumurta kabuk kırılma direnci muamelelerden önemli seviyede etkilenmemiştir. Yumurta kitlesi ve kabuk kalınlığına rasyon aspir küspesi seviyelerinin etkisi önemli olurken, yumurta kabuk oranına enzim ilavesinin etkisi önemli olmuştur. Muamelelerin ak indeksi, sarı indeksi ve Haugh birimine etkisi önemsiz olmuştur. Yumurta sarısı renk özelliklerinde a* ve b* değeri muamelelerden önemli seviyede etkilenmez iken, rasyona enzim ilavesiyle L* değerinde önemli seviyede düşüş görülmüştür. Serum glukoz, kolesterol, AST, ALT, kalsiyum ve fosfor konsantrasyonlarına muamelelerin etkisi önemsiz olmuştur. Deneme sonuçlarına göre yumurtlayan bıldırcın rasyonlarında enzim ilavesine gerek olmadan %20 seviyesinde aspir küspesi kullanılabileceği söylenebilir.

This study was carried out to determine the effects of 0 and 1000 mg/kg multi-enzyme addition to the diets containing different levels (0, 5, 10 and 20%) of safflower seed meal on performance, egg quality and serum parameters in laying Japanese quails. 160 female Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix Japonica) at 8 weeks of age were used in the study. It was carried out for 84 days with 5 replications in a quail cage with 4 Japanese quails in each of 8 treatment groups consisting of enzyme addition to diets containing different levels of safflower seed meal. In laying quail, the effect of enzyme addition to the diets containing different levels of safflower meal on body weight, body weight change, egg production and feed conversion ratio at the end of the experiment was insignificant. While feed intake was not affected by the addition of enzyme to the diet, feed intake in the group containing 20% safflower meal was significantly higher than the group containing 5% safflower meal, and this group was similar to the other groups. Egg weight and eggshell breaking strength were not significantly affected by the treatments. While the effect of dietary safflower meal levels on egg mass and eggshell thickness was significant, the effect of enzyme addition on eggshell ratio was significant. The effects of treatments on albumen index, yolk index and Haugh unit were insignificant. While a* and b* values in egg yolk colour properties were not significantly affected by the treatments, a significant decrease was observed in L* value with the addition of enzyme to the diet. The effects of treatments on serum glucose, cholesterol, AST, ALT, calcium, and phosphorus concentrations were insignificant. According to the test results, it can be said that 20% safflower meal can be used in laying quail diets without the need for enzyme addition.

This study was carried out to determine the influence of different levels of alfalfa meal and the addition of enzyme on performance, carcass and intestinal parameters in growing quails. Japanese quails (n=240), 1 days of age, were divided into 6 dietary treatment groups and the experiment lasted for 5 weeks. In each experiment group there were 4 replicates, and in each replicates there were 10 chicks. Six diets, arranged a factorial design with three alfalfa meal levels (0, 2.5 and 5.0 %) and two levels of added enzyme (0.0 and 1.0 g/kg) were used. The treatments did not effect on the body weight, feed intake and feed conversion ratio. However, relative liver, leg+back, intestine weights and crypt depth were significantly increased, and relative heart and breast weights and villus width decreased by dietary alfalfa meal levels. The addition of enzyme to diets containing alfalfa meal did not affect the performance and carcass parameters, but reduced the intestinal histomorphology parameters in quails. According to the results obtained from the experiment, it can be said that the use of alfalfa meal in growing quail diets did not affect the performance, but the use of alfalfa meal at the level of 2.5% in the diet promotes intestinal development.

In order to put cultured species on the market with high quality and few casualties, many important studies are carried out. Most of the researches are conducted in the development of feed and feed ingredients 30-60% of the production cost in farming. Therefore, in aquaculture, an interest in alternative feed ingredients is moving at a very fast rate. In this context, the use of enzymes, probiotics and prebiotics in animal feed has steadily increased in recent years with reasons such as effective control of fish diseases and prevention of infection, strengthening the immune system of fish, increase of the digestibility, reduction of the feed cost, reduction of larval-term mortality, provision of increase in growth, live weight gain, and getting rid of the negative effects of stress.

This study was carried out to determine the influence of diets including different levels of protein and supplemented with probiotic-enzyme mixed on performance parameters and eggshell quality in laying quails. Japanese quails (n=120), 10 wk of age, were divided into 6 dietary treatment groups and the experiment lasted for 10 weeks. In each experiment group there were 5 replicates, and in each replicates there were 4 birds. Six diets, arranged a factorial design with three protein levels (16, 18 and 20 (control) %) and two levels of supplemented probiotic-enzyme mixed (0.0 and 1.0 g/kg) were used. Dietary crude protein levels and supplementation of probiotic-enzyme did not effect on the body weight gain, egg mass, feed intake, feed conversion, cracked egg yield, specific gravity and shell strength. However, egg production, eggshell thickness and eggshell weight were significantly increased by the addition of probiotic-enzymes mixed. Egg weight in group containing 18% crude protein was significantly higher than the containing 16% crude protein group. Results of the present study indicated that laying quails should be fed 18% crude protein and 1.0 g/kg of supplemental probiotic-enzyme mixed improved egg production and eggshell quality.
