This study examines how environmental issues have been addressed in the water sector in Brazil, within the context of activities of the Federal Government, generally, and those implemented under Bank sector operations, in particular. The core focus of the study lies in the management of water quality, as it affects both the users of raw water, and those who are primarily concerned with the disposal of wastewater. The report considers the following three sectoral areas concomitantly - water resources management, water supply and sanitation, and, the environment - thus limiting its review, and focus to those themes which are key to the over-arching issue of water quality. Water resources management in the country relied upon heavy investments in medium, and large scale projects that provided basic infrastructure for water uses. However, these have produced questionable impacts in terms of reducing poverty, and inequality. One of the reasons for this, has been the poor infrastructure management, which despite its importance, has been largely underestimated. While improvements in the utilization of existing infrastructure in the water sector remain critical, it needs to be complemented by incentives to both service providers, and water users. Moreover, low economic, environmental, and social returns from investments in the water sector, reflect the tendency to distract attention from the objectives in the design, and implementation of projects. Thus, an assessment of water quality goals is required, which should be based on systematic evaluations of the costs, and benefits of reaching alternative standards, and explicit social objectives.

En el presente trabajo se desarrolló el proyecto de diseño del modelo de negocio, su implementación y validación del piloto comercialización para un servicio de filtración de agua para consumo en hogares de la ciudad de Bogotá con el fin de conocer como está el mercado, cuál es su expectativa y que oportunidades se encuentran para una posible continuidad de este y que conlleve al establecimiento de una empresa, este documento, se encuentra dividido en 5 capítulos distribuidos de la siguiente manera: En el primer capítulo encontramos la descripción del proyecto donde se encuentran los objetivos y la justificación, en el segundo capítulo se muestran los procesos de iniciación del proyecto, para el tercer capítulo, se encuentran todos los planes de gestión que se desarrollaron en la etapa de planeación; en el cuarto capítulo se encontrarán todos los procesos de ejecución, seguimiento, control y cierre entre los cuales esta los informes de gestión de avance del proyecto, el dashboard o tablero de control del proyecto y el informe de cierre del proyecto, por último, en el 5to capítulo se encuentran las evidencias de producto, donde se puede observar la documentación desarrollada y las pruebas realizadas al PMV y su piloto de comercialización. | Especialista en Gerencia de Proyectos | Especialización | In the present work, the design project of the business model, its implementation and validation of the commercialization pilot for a water filtration service for consumption in homes in the city of Bogotá was developed in order to know how the market is, what is your expectation and what opportunities are found for a possible continuity of this and that leads to the establishment of a company, this document is divided into 5 chapters distributed as follows: In the first chapter we find the description of the project where the objectives and justification, in the second chapter the project initiation processes are shown, for the third chapter, all the management plans that were developed in the planning stage are found; In the fourth chapter you will find all the processes of execution, monitoring, control and closing, among which are the progress management reports of the project, the dashboard or project control board and the project closure report, finally, in Chapter 5 contains the product evidence, where you can see the documentation developed and the tests carried out on the PMV and its commercialization pilot.
