Goodwin, H.L. | Nelson, J.R. | Gilbert, S.
Extract: The primary objective of this study is to develop information useful to decisionmakers in evaluating the economic feasibilities of various alternative solid waste systems in small communities and rural areas of Oklahoma. The specific objectives of the study include: 1. developing a procedure to estimate current local needs for solid waste service; 2. developing information to enable local decisionmakers to establish complete capital and operating budgets for alternative methods of solid waste collection, transfer and landfill disposal systems; 3. developing a methodology to enable local decisionmakers to evaluate alternative solid waste management systems by comparing revenues and costs.
