[Capacity and influence of P in six genotypes of Paspalum dilatatum]

Английский. The effect of developmental stage on the growth and P nutrition of six genotypes of P. dilatatum was comparatively studied in a greenhouse. These genotypes were cut at different developmental stages, namely: vegetative stage, joint-stage, anthesis and fructification and dry matter production and distribution, relative and total P content were measured at each sampling. It was found that the growth and nutritional parameters were fairly similar for the genotypes compared. These results are discussed in terms of grazing management and feeding value

Le piante furono tagliate in diversi stati fenologici (stato vegetativo, levata, antesi e fruttificazione) e fu valutata la produzione e distribuzione della materia secca e il contenuto percentuale e totale di P. Questi genotipi non mostrano differenze nei confronti dei parametri studiati. Inoltre si discutono i dati rispetto alle necessita nutritive del bestiame ed al governo dei pascoli
