A study on effect of seed vigor on yield of RD 7 and RD 10 was conducted. A factorial arrangement in randomized complete block design with 2 varieties of rice, and four seed vigor levels at 0, 2, 4 and 6 days after accelerated aging was employed. The result indicated that the old seed of RD 10 which was more prominent responded to accelerated aging test than RD 7. Speed germination, root growth rate, seedling growth rate, and GADA test were better than the other vigor tests. Seed vigor was decreased with the increase in seed deterioration. Seed vigor levels did not affect plant height and number of tillers per plant at 30 days after transplanting. At 45 days after transplanting the longer aged seed tended to reduce plant height and number of tillers per plant. But at 20 days after transplanting, vegetative growth phase of all vigor level was equal. Number of panicles per tiller and number of filled grains per panicles of high vigor seed were greater than those of low vigor seed, but there were no difference in 1,000 seed weight and grain yield
