Up to day, the use of 32 p for assessing available soil-P is considered as the standard method. In view of the difficulties inherent in this method (costly equipment and reagents as well as radiation hazards) it (the E-value version) was compared to P extracted by an anionic resin, in a pot experiment with rye grass and 14 Red Mediterranean soils.
