Mineral composition of kernels and shells of four cultivars of groundnut

Shells of Kadiri 2 and 3 had higher N% while that of EC 22137-1 had the highest P and K contents. There were no perceptible differences in Ca and Mg contents of shells due to varieties. Unlike other mineral constituents, the Ca content of shells were twice that of kernels for all the varieties tested
