Multi-environmental diallel analysis for combining ability in triticale

Combining ability analysis was performed on a six-parent diallel cross of triticale (X Triticosecale Wittmack) artificially grown in six created environmental conditions. The general (GCA) and specific (SCA) combining ability variances and their interactions with environments were significant for all traits, viz. days to heading, spikelet number, peduncle length, spike length, tiller number, plant height, grain number, 100-grain weight and grain yield per plant
