The choline-methionine interrelationship in the growing broiler chicks

To investigate the interrelatioship between methionine and choline in the broiler chicks, an experiment with 3 x 3 factorial design, 3 levels of methionine supplementation (0.00, 0.15, 0.30%) and 3 levels of choline supplementation (0.00, 0.05, 0.10%), was carried out. A total of 360 birds with 9 treatment composed of possible combination of 2 factors and 3 levels of them, were allotted with quadruplicate groups of 10 birds. Experimental diets (CP:21%; ME:3000 kcal) were based on corn and soybean meal and considered to be adequate in all known required nutrients (NRC, 1977) excluding sulfur containing amino acids
