Cytogenetical studies on the genus Juniperus in Korea [R.]

The present paper deals with the results of karyotype analysis and variations of isozyme band patterns in three species and seven varieties in Juniperus, one of the useful tree species in Korea [R.]. Judging from their karyotypes, three varieties in Juniperus were tetraploids with chromosomes number, 2n=44. Formula of karyotypes was made in Juniperus of diploids and tetraploids. Seven varieties of Juniperus were classified into 2 groups for variation of isozyme band patterns
