Sixty day-old seedlings buried wholly produced more harvestable leaves (30.55) than 85 day-old seedlings, half buried. One hundred twenty (120) day-old seedlings produced higher crop value (P12,880.23) than 60 and 85 day-old seedlings which had P10,834.76 and P9,492.16, respectively. The depth of planting did not affect the performance of the plant
