Fly ash at a rate of 150 t/ha was turned under on sandy soil. A result, the soil physicochemical properties were improved including pH, potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus contents. The physical properties were also improved and particularly the content of pores of more than 3 mm in diameter. Those changes positively affected field water capacity and water retention
