Accumulation of some heavy metals in edible fishes found in mangrove areas

The concentration of heavy metal contents in the muscle tissue of edible fishes, collected from two selected mangrove areas (Klong Darn, Klong-Wan) were determined by Atomic Absorption spectrophotometer. The level of heavy metal content in the samples collected did not reach to the permissible level (standard in Thailand) so it was not harmful to the consumers
