The conclusions were made according to results: in summer months the number of sperms in ejaculates of healthy and normally exploited boars is decreasing. This decrease in number of sperms is in accordance with the influence of higher temperatures on spermatogenesis. Changes of the investigated dehydrogenase (sorbitol dehydrogenase, isocitrate dehydrogenase and lactate dehydrogenase) in sperms and semen plasma are also characteristical for certain seasons of a year, and especially for sorbitol dehydrogenase and isocitrate dehydrogenase. This means that in different seasons metabolic processes are changing in ejaculates and their intensity, which effects positively or negatively the boar's fertility in different seasons of a year.
