Applied nitrogenous fertilizers, calcium ammonium nitrate (KAN) and carbamide separately, or in combination with phosphours and potassium fertilizers show positive effect on grape yields of "smederevka" variety investigated in Smederevo area of vineyards (SFRY). Calcium ammonium nitrate has the greater effect in comparison to carbamide. The best quantity of active nitrogen is dose of 90 kg/ha. It is noticed that applied fertilizers positively influence the average number of grapes, and average weight of "smederevka" variety. The increased grape yield in variant with fertilizers does not reduced sugar in unfermented grape juice, which is of great importance. The obsolute quantity of sugar per 1 hectare is much greater in variant with sugar, which is very important for wine production. All variants with fertilizers have greater vine production value in correlation to control. The greatest value of grape production have the variants with calcium ammonium nitrate and with quantity of N 90 kg/ha. The increased quantity of nitrogenous fertilizers has not been resulted in greater moisture content in fruitfull tendrils. The variants with calcium ammonium nitrate have the smaller moisture content in correlation to variations with carbamide.
