Mortality pattern and its cases in goats

Thirteen years' (1970-1982) caprine necropsy data (4360) maintained in the Division of Pathology were analysed. Pneumonia was found to be the most common cause of death followed by gastroenterits and coccidiosis in kids and gastroenteritis and hepatic disorders in adults
