The perforated polythene bags (100 gauge) resulted in the minimum physiological loss in weight (4.75%) and rotting (10.0%) and maximum retention of juice content (44.46%) up to 85 days of cold storage. Butter paper was equally effective in preventing of the fruit rot and also maintained the highest percentage of total sugars. Highest percentage of total soluble solids, reducing sugars and lowest acidity were recorded in paddy straw-wrapped fruits. It is suggested that the Kinnow fruits can be stored up to 85 days at 0 deg C to 3.3 deg C temeperature with 85-90% relative humidity when wrapped in perforated polythene bags of 100 gauge thickness or in butter paper
