[The metabolic profile of farm animals 1. Contribution to the study of methods for defining hematic reference values]

After examining some of the main factors influencing the metabolic profile of domestic animals and connected problems and defining the normality limits for the various hematic parameters, the authors propose a model of statistical analysis in order to give preliminary definition of these limits. The model is based on testing the normality of the distribution curves, on the transformation curves, however they may be distributed,in Gauss curves and on the use of residual standard deviation in order to define limits which can describe the variability within the different rearing conditions and the various physiological stress.
