A field experiment was carried out to find out the fertilizer responses for various clay content in paddy soil. Two varieties of rice, Pungsanbyeo and Chuncheongbyeo, were cultivated under different fertilizer application levels such as control and chemical components adjustment based on multinutrient factor balance concept at paddy soils with clay content ranged 11 - 17 %. The depth of water decrease was lowed with the increased of clay content and especially, the yield of Chucheongbyeo was maximum at 13.7 mm/day. The plot of chemical components adjustement increased effective tillering and rice yield 15 % of Pungsanbyeo, 7 % of Chunchongbyeo respectively
