Effect of synthetic amino acids on traits of deposed fat of fattening pigs

The experiments with pigs fed on complete feed with the level of crude protein decreased 10 or 15% compared to the standard feed PT-2 were conducted. The addition of L-lysine or L-lysine and DL-methionine was provided to complete the amount of amino acids to the same level as in the standard feed PT-2. The degree of carcass fattness was significantly higher when the protein content in feed decreased. Decreasing protein content resulted in declined amount of oleic and linoleic acids in the lard.
