In the experiments carried out the usefulness of the pesticide Lontrel 300 in controlling two weeds: the Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense) and the perennial sowthistle (Sonchus arvensis) in onion, was confirmed. Lontrel 300 should be applied at the rate of 0.3-0.4 l/ha when plants are at the stage of 3 true leaves
