Changes in consumption of agricultural and food products [Yugoslavia]

Consumption of agricultural food products in Yugoslavia expressed in energy value per inhabitant is satisfactory, but quality structure is getting worse because the protein share is stagnating, while that of fat is increasing. In 3- and 4-member workers' families reduction of meat and meat products and milk consumption since 1980 has been noticed, as well as of bread and bakery products until 1979, when it began to increase. Increase of food expenditures has been noticed in all household on the average.
