The paper was concerned with the status and development of machine application at small agricultural estates in the rural regions of Yugoslavia, mechanization of livestock breeding facilities (pigs, cattle) and cadre training, as elements of adequate utilization and maintenance of the machinery. Nowadays, most of the estates are equipped with tractors, accessories (plows, harrows, disks, presowing implements, mineral fertilizer distributors, sprinklers, sowing implements, cultivators, mowers, rakes, manure distributors, tank cars, etc.), as well as wheat combines, maize combines and equipment intended for livestock breeding.
