An overall observation of the path coefficient analysis and association analysis studies revealed that the number of pods per plant and number of seeds per pod are the common casual factors that influence economic yield. Hence, selection criteria for the improvement of seed yield in the area may be on the basis of pods per plant and number of seeds per pod
