During the reproduction process the Haflinger race has a lower percentage of foal deaths and miscarriages than the Nonius race, but it has longer sterility. The percentages of miscarriage and sterility among the mares of the Arabic race are slightly higher. Are pointed out the measures to increase the fertility of mares, as for a high number of the perissodactylis
