Fish consumption survey in selected rural areas in Bangladesh

A fish consumption survey among various socio-economic groups was conducted in Chandpur irrigation project area from 1977 to 1979. Data was collected in four hydrological phases viz., high water (July-September), mid-falling water (October-December), low water (January-March) and mid rising water phase (April-June). The highest and lowest par capita consumption of fish were 48 and 24g per day during high water phase respectively.
