Phytophagous mites of the family Tenuipalpidae in Greece and description of three new species

During the period 1977-1984 the following mites have were recorded for the first time in Greece: Tenuipalpus cupressoides (Meyer-Smith and Gerson), Cenopalpus mespili (Livschitz and Mitrofanov), Cenopalpus pseudospinosus (Livschitz and Mitrofanov), Hystripalpus rotai (Castagnoli and Pegazzano), Hystripalpus olivicola (Pegazzano and Castagnoli), Aegyptobia tragardhi (Sayed) and Aegyptobia sayedi (Yousef). Also for ten others species new host plants have been recorded, for the first time in Greece. Finally, description of three new species are included, Aegyptobia populus sp. nov., Cenopalpus officinalis sp. nov. and Cenopalpus hederae sp. nov
