[Effect of dietary mineral content on serum mineral level in broiler chickens]

An experiment on broiler chickens fed on supplemented NaCl diet with different Ca : P ratio was carried out. An addition of NaCl to the diet containing mostly plant protein decreased plasma Ca level and increased plasma K and Na level. The decrease of dietary Ca : P ratio caused an increase of K and Na and a decrease of Ca content in broiler blood
