The influence of 22 different environmental factors on the absorption of cadmium by strawberry fruit was analysed. It was found that the main environmental factor positively correlated with the cadmium content in strawberries was the ratio of cadmium content in the soil and pH (Cd/pH). The main negatively correlated factor was the calcium content in the soil
