A large number of mechanical cultivations performed on potato plantations and herbicides from the group of derivatives of urea, triazines and mixtures of urea preparations with others causes an increase of tubers infected with bacteria inducing soft rot. Sencor 70 WP applied before the emergence of potato plants reduces the number of rotting tubers
